  • Recorded 6/15/2024 at 8:04 am. Sister ACe's huh, both in the first position in their respective areas on the train. Odd how that happened! Anyways, on main track 1 was a tied down 19D that would later go on down into BMW of Greer. It's catches like this when I don't mind the slow speed of a train because the locomotives are working hard after overcoming a grade with a long train. In this scenario in the video, NS is actually burning fuel and letting these locomotives do their jobs of being "workhorses." Seems like they only let the engineers throttle up on these hotshot domestic intermodal trains. Everything else they don't care for. What a shame! Besides that, I hope you all enjoy the video. @@milepost4846 That’s right, and this is completely normal for this train later in the week!

Nice catch! SMH on the auto-control crap. That's so stupid locomotives can only be run like normal with "certain" trains. 😑

Thanks for watching Josh. It’s unfortunate really. If non-railroaders try to run a railroad, this is the stuff that happens. They don’t care about moving freight, just the short-term stock price! Gotta save every penny on fuel for those shareholders.
