Since the band's inception in 1992 The Dirtbombs have won over dozens of fans. In more recent years, they've been named Spin magazine's #10 best live band in the world and had their cover of "Chains of Love" hand-picked by artist/director Julian Schnabel to be featured prominently in his critically-acclaimed film The Diving Bell and the Butterfly.

Komelina is such an absolute bad-ass! This performance is my morning coffee, and is what rock 'n roll is all about. She's also my fav-o-rite DJ (my 12 yr old boy loves her too!). Bring it!

Been needing a Dirtbombs fix. Their shows I saw at the Beachland Ballroom in Cleveland are among the most enjoyable of the many hundreds of concerts I’ve been to over the years. I’d totally risk getting The Rona if they were playing somewhere 😄

I first heard this song when I first heard my favorite album of theirs, We've Got You Surrounded. I immediately wanna sing it to my wife with my 2 friends backin' me, including background vocals. I can't wait. I knew it'd be too hard for her and, in fact, when I played it for her she goes, 'I can't understand the lyrics.' But it's all for her. Great love song done spicy.

Can someone explain the benefit of two drummers? Don't you want a crisp, punchy drumsound and would do better with one drummer, just like one bassplayer? Or can't they make up their mind who gets to play the drums. Or is this one of the tribute things where Phil Collins is playing but more for show because he can't anymore and so he more or less pretends or only does the signature In the Air Tonight bit.
I know Radiohead sometimes has half a dozen people hitting things with sticks, but everyone plays something different, so that kinda makes sense. Here not so much, unless I'm missing something.

the Melvins had two drummers for a while, just sounds bigger i guess, fits the music they’re writing at the moment, more backup vocals if needed, lots of advantages with two drummers. downside: having to load and unload two full drumsets every show.

actually Mick talks about that in a video about his previous band (The Gories), Dirtbombs was initially sort of like a concept band, being that a band made up of a bunch of people who never really listened to rock and roll but had only read about it books, like they have an idea of it but its a little off hence 2 drummers and initially two bassists.
