Though not found as widely through India as the tiger, the power and courage of the Asiatic lion should not be underestimated. What are your thoughts on these formidable beasts?

why dont your teams do a favor and give them something to eat. Im over the "we dont interfere with nature" b.s. The very reason those cubs are starving is because we interfered with nature. They starve because of us. So everybody needs to get over that hypocritical theory and start helping when we can, when it is safe for both cat and human.

What I know about Indian culture lions are mostly associated for luxury and lavish things or lifestyle. It's a symbol of royalty or Royal Power. But tigers are mainly associated to sacrifice, strength and bravery. If king of empire is the like the Lion then the brave soldier is like the Tiger.

Government of that region is trying a lot to save them. Please do not provide wrong info. around the world because People start showing sympathy and they feel that indian lions are avoided by the government. Sometimes I think they are so unlucky that they were born alongside such an ignorant species, the humans. We exploit this planet as it has been made just for us. In Sanskrit there's something written as वसुधैव कुटुम्बकम् (vasudhaiva kuTumbakam) which means that the Whole World is just one family. A tightly knit nuclear family. The Siberian Tiger was proved to be genetically identical to the thought to be extinct Caspian Tiger. The Asiatic lion miraculously survived in India where it went extinct elsewhere , the Persian leopard survived also with a substantial and wide spread but threatened breeding population. Finally the Asiatic Cheetah perphaps the most miraculous of all to survive is hanging on by a thread in Iran. All of these big cats mostly forgot in Asia can once again roam all of Asia and coexist if people wake up to their existence! It is amazing to think Asia really has all the legendary cats Lions , Tigers, Leopards and Cheetahs and Snow leopards as well. A park containing all five would be as famous and awe inspiring as the best game reserves in South Africa. What people dont realize is 1. Politics and ego and greed has prevented these countries from sharing and breeding these populations. Especially India where Lions are suffering in one crowded national park when they should at the minimum be three seperate populations. 2. People have forgotten these animals even exist and lost touch with the fact that if just one of these five ( Tigers 🐅, Lions 🦁, leopards , snow leopards and cheetahs) went extinct, Asia would permanently loose a large part of its irreplaceable magic and natual divinity. I pray for a day that all four species can roam all of Asia. For now however the focus must be on preserving the populations where they are and making sure they dont disappear. Now is a time not to think as Indians or Iranians or Russians but as Asians and custodians of the legacy of the continent.
