He seems like a really nice guy which probably shouldn't come as a surprise since one of his relatives watched our house and dogs. She noted he bought her church a bus so they could have field trips.
I thought Eddie was a jackass back in their earlier days, but when he stood up against Ticketmaster, I found a new respect for the man!! If only other bands and musicians would have fought the fight, concerts wouldn’t be as ridiculously expensive now!! 😬🤘🏻🎸
Please play "Hail, Hail", "Spin the black circle", "Blood", "Brain of J", "Lukin", "Last Exit", "Habit"...there is so many good hard songs from Pearl Jam.
When I was growing up, Pearl Jam was my favourite band. Loved Ten, LOVED Vs. And Vitology, and liked some of No Code as well. Kinda lost interest after that when they started to get into the tamer, more acoustic stuff, but those first 3 albums will always be 3 of my all time faves.
Exactly! You can find other clips and raw footage of this interview (and other interviews) around RUclips and Ed says some really interesting and thoughtful things. But the media always edit it to only show the bits that make him look moody and difficult.
I always thought one was survival one of my favourite song tbh, if i was to say it had anything to do with suicide i would say a way of surviving suicide because thats exactly what it done for me 👌🏼 i like how he cleared that up

I should have specified what I meant.
I took a train from San Diego to Orange County to the first Obama fest on the beach Eddie Vedder(solo) headlined the show I wasn’t looking forward to it he was so damn enjoyable as an entertainer. The show included Mudhoney and Elvis Costello and all of the band X. It was a Great show

“Makes me really mad” He is too cute!!
lol!
Everything made rEddie mad in those days. An occupational hazard at that point in time. But no one wore it or made as good a use of it as he did.
Me too! Tired, sooo tired of ‘Daughter’ on the radio! They have so so many excellent rockin’ songs! 😩🤘🏼
I was thinking the same thing, so unintimidating and cute. Feels weird saying that about a man who's about 40 years older than me lol
Vedder is a female to male invert like most entertainers are

I’m not sure how you got that from this but you are not a big boy
perfect quality. thanks!

Why tf did she bring up a court date for a bar fight? What does that have to do with anything? I see why Eddie hated the media so much.

Anybody else notice the SpongeBob font?
💋
I wish Pearl Jam was on the radio. I'd listen to Blood everyday. Awful music out there now.

Exactly. Music is the worst these days.
im from Australia and triple M plays a lot of alive and even flow on friday afternoons

PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS
Uh Johnny Depp and Eddie Vedder talk exactly alike uh
Same alien. Different human form
They've played songs together too. Search got Eddie performing "Society" with Depp, not a lot of people know about that video.
Steve Lukather has a similar baritone voice.
Tough to spot anyone under 40 at a Pearl Jam show nowadays.. haha
I was the happiest 25 y/o at the Fort Worth show! Sep. 15th. Met some really cool PJ fans there!
@@TreyslayrI was there too, mate. Great concert. Saw ppl of all ages there.
That's pretty accurate and kind of funny.
Youth slips away and it's hard to imagine being old when you're young.
I'm 24 and I'm going to my first PJ concert this year!
I don't get why everyone hates this guy and Pearl jam ?

This was during the time when Pearl Jam is about to fire their drummer Dave Abruzzese from the band.
Love Eddie and Pearl Jam, but this is so ridiculous. If they didn't want soft songs playing on the radio, they shouldnt release them as singles.

Or Elderly Woman Behind the Counter in a Small Town?
Definitely Elderly Woman...great song.
