They went crazy with this story. Not just Dr. Oddfellow's story but the existence of the vampire society... They have to do something regarding the Vamps in future years...
I have to say, the idea of a vampire using drops of their blood with specific memories inside them to share them with other vampires is an interesting concept.
11:50-12:39 If this were a movie, with a voice like that, I can easily imagine Lawrence Fishburne playing Earlow Wolfe/Dr. Oddfellow here.
I'm LOVING that they're bringing back these wonderfully detailed backstories and lore for the Icons and Houses and whatnot, it's like the great websites they set up for the 2008 and 2009 years!

Yes! How I missed those years! Happy to see it return in the shape of a story/podcast now. Can't wait to see Oddfellow in the commercials as an official icon!
2009 was my first year and I remember just being absolutely enamored, even tho I didn’t know the full background. I’ve been chasing that high ever sense, and I hope this year gives it to me cause that year really sold me on HHN
This is what I was thinking as well. Mary's tapes were some of my favorites and this upped the level for storytelling.
@@sarahlamper5701 2009 had me feeling the same way!!! In retrospect, I think that might have to be my favorite year. It was so special, especially with The Usher being a new icon, his backstory & how they executed that was awesome. Like you said, this might be the year where we get some of that back!
@TridentLandStudios Mary's tapes from 2008? That year with Bloody Mary was another phenomenal year! One of my favorite scarezones is from that year actually. Do you remember the school house scarezone by the San Francisco sections & central park?
