This is a comment for your "DO THIS FIRST Camshaft position sensor" video (won't let me add comments to that one). Thanks! Your technique worked for my 2016 Ford Focus ST. I had precisely the same symptoms, and did what you did, and it worked. I still don't fully trust my VCT solenoids, but have a little time now and hopefully can wait until I have another reason to take the valve cover off. It's a little bit of a job for the 2.0L ecoboost. (Would have been better if those were outside the valve cover like other engines.) Thanks, again, your tip saved me a bunch of hassle and money, I think.
@@_willalexander.88 I meant to ask: did you replace the solenoids? if not, did you have recurrence of the problem? I'm driving around with motorcycle battery and the wires handy, just in case, for a little while.
@@billd.6684 no issues since. I was pretty worried after hearing the dealer wanted to rip my engine open and was sure it had to be done lol. But no, absolutely no issues since. GL
Cool. I'm keeping the wires in the glove box and if it happens again, can do from car battery (very quickly to avoid too much current). Friend of mine said on an old car there was a solenoid on the ignition and they had a similar problem - solenoid got stuck, got it going again and didn't recur in the 5 years they still had the car. Might replace next time I have valve cover open for another reason, I guess. Thanks again.
Damn bro your truck is dope with that shiny black!
Nice vid, truck looks great 👌
Hello that upgrade is bad azz where did you purchase it from? I’ve looked cannot find that exact one. Thx
That looks sharp
