0:30 hate to say it but the golden lobster clamp and glued stump are red flags that that tail is most likely a cruel fur farm tail, which is also why it probably broke. Especially if off of amazon, aliexpress, ebay, wish.
Sadly it is real, I bought it because it had "faux" in the title but I later found out that it was real when I found the leather inside after it broke. I don't support the fur industry, and never bought one again. :(
