I did in fact sing this whole song with a smile to sell it 😈 📻 Edit: If we can reach 1K likes on this video, that’ll let me know you guys enjoy Hazbin Fan songs and I’ll start learning some more!!
Great Cover, Loganne! you both did wonderful ❤️ I finished recording and singing Born to drive me crazy I know it doesn’t have the best quality, and I know my singing voice isn’t as great as yours, but I’m proud of it. Your and Viester’s covers inspired me and gave me enough confidence to do this, I would love for you to see my cover. But you absolutely do not have to if you don’t want to. I just published it
This is very on brand for Alastor. He's not just a dealmaker, he's a SHOWMAN. He's a PROPER supervillain. Sure, he COULD just bully a sinner into taking his deal or otherwise force them, but what fun would that be? No, you have to make it a SPECTACLE, make them think you care, whittle down hope to the very marrow of despair, make them think you're the only option you have left, dancing rings around them, the, and ONLY then, do you offer your hand and those terrible, fate sealing words. "So it's a deal, then?"
@@LoganneDigmaVO Your Welcome, I’m glad you liked my ABBA jokes, but seriously you really are amazing, and I can’t dance very well either, I didn’t know what to really do at the Mamma Mia homecoming dance at my high school but I figured something out
I’ll be there to see it I’m planning on singing Born to Drive me crazy from Disventure Camp as my first cover I appreciate you and Viester very much, both of you inspired me with your covers on your channels Keep up the good work❤
*Tinny speaker 1920s announcer voice* and that's another one out of the ballpark, ladies and gentlemen, yes, Loganne knocks another one out of the ballpark! I knew I was going to love this one because it's above all about showmanship, and damn if you don't have that in spades. I adore how you've added your own little touches so you're not just swapping ParanoidDJ's voice with a female one, like the prominence of the piano notes and the shadow cackling when Alastor's facade hasn't cracked yet, and the "shadow voices" from her broadcast coming from the radio. She's having so much fun and it shows both in the verses and in the chorus, which I've always thought, melodically, strike a really good balance between Alastor acting more poised, even while putting on a show (like in his swing number in the pilot, which this song clearly references) and when he's just... gone full manic lmao (the choruses are that part, i can see the room spinning and warping around him. Or her, in this case). You breaking into a fit of laughter before the first chorus makes me think that you realized it too, an added clue to the music that Something Is Not Right Here. The clear vowels and clicks and drags of someone slightly struggling to keep up that transatlantic accent while singing are excellent, especially since some things in the dialogue part of the original indicate that Alastor is not nearly as old yet. Perhaps this version lets the transatlantic slip a little when singing rather than losing the static when very affected, lol. In any case, round of applause for the accent alone, because it's not easy and hardly anyone uses it anymore, not to mention that Alastor uses it to mask a natural accent as well and even Amir and Ed slip it a bit from time to time. Love how the use of "girl" to refer to herself doesn't just fit syllables-wise, it fits the character: an unmarried woman in the 20s that's in showbiz AND a flapper (I'm just going to tack on the whole Mimzy and going to speakeasies thing here too) would have used such a term to refer to herself instead of something more formal, but Alastor wouldn't have slipped so far as to call herself a "gal" etc because then she could have been called out on her Creole accent (it's quite literally impossible to say "gal" with a transatlantic accent; Mimzy's NY accent gets stronger on that word for example). Free spirited but sophisticated: a whole story in one word. The rest of your acting doesn't need mention at this point, but I do have to give a special mention to that eerie, positively spine-chilling "so? It's a deal, then?" When Alastor goes THAT quiet, that still, every alarm bell that you possess should go off, and you most definitely made it feel that way. Like the vocal equivalent of the feeling of trying to back away and hitting the wall with your back: end of the line, no escape. Props to Kiran for the Husk baritone and especially the acting, my man sounds absolutely exhausted with his owner's antics and it's so very convincing! Five stars 💖 ETA: oh and great job noticing that the Insane riff was included as homage and doing it as well!! So many people don't hear it, let alone replicate it
AHHH RAVEN!! It’s always a joy to read your comments!! This song was so much fun to sing acting wise because of how obvious it is something isn’t right, but still trying to be as convincing as possible!! This was my first official time attempting a transatlantic accent and I always find it so interesting how it always somehow slips in and out in all of Alastor’s songs (official or fan) HAHAHA! I seriously wish the accent was used more it is so beautiful!
Phenomenal job Loganne and Kiran! You both portrayed Alastor and Husk so well! Kiran did an amazing job singing the frustrations Husk has like the original. And both voices fit well with the song. I really did enjoy this cover. ❤ Can I sign the deal now? 👀 Pretty please with a Cat Alastor cherry on top?
@LoganneDigmaVO honestly you should put it on spotify because I normally end up only liking smaller artist and your voice is so pretty thanks for responding 🥰
This one turned out SO GOOD! You have got to do more electro swing, something about your singing, that tempo, and the radio sound just worked! Crazy how well you played Alastor. And Kiran? You have got one INCREDIBLE bass voice, you made an absolutely perfect Husk!
Which Hazbin song you're gonna next, "POP", Use me Up", "We're sure to drown"? Whichever song from Hazbin or Helluva Boss you do, I'll be excited for it🤩🤩🤩🤩

Loganne’s voice is Mamma Mia worthy
I wonder if she’s the dancing queen, she’s already a great singer, I think she would also be great at dancing
