    "You will sleep again..."
    Exactly what I needed to hear 🤣 I didn't have enough sleep for several months with my first baby and that was kinda traumatic. When I found out abt my 2nd pregnancy, I was so anxious that I will never be able to sleep again.
    Thank you so much!

      I have been sleeping since my first was 8 months. Ironically, that was when we found out I was pregnant again. The first 8 months of my son's life were rough as ever, he rarely napped. It was HARD. But i'll be honest, him sleeping was a huge reason I saw it as very possible to take on a second wholeheartedly, without dread.

    I’m a dad, we have two. I definitely felt the transition from 0 to 1 was bigger than 1 to 2, but the second was easier. I think the different personalities of the two (with second being more chill) helped. A couple things I would add, the two after 7-8 months start entertaining each other so time needed IMO almost became a wash and broke out even. The other thing is since they are at different stages, your connection to them might also be different. My older one was talking, walking, playing etc. and it’s different connection than an infant, at least for me as a dad.

    Thank you for this video! I am newly a mom of two, a 5 yr old and 4 week old. And, it's tough emotionally, mentally, and physically. It's hard to give my 5 yr old the attention she deserves. I try, like when we do lots of homework together or fold laundry, (not really all that fun for her) but I'm still consumed with frustration that I can't give more or be more to both my children. I didn't see this coming and feel run ragged most days. Taking care of myself is nearly out of reach, whereas running for miles used to be my daily go-to. Breastfeeding just takes up the whole day!!! But, your video gives me hope that each day will get better. I NEED to hear this message more from other moms.

    I am 8 months pregnant right now and my boy is 13 months old. My pregnancy is really hard on me and I already feel so much guilt that even through my boys first year of life I could not be the mom for him I wanted to be. So many times I was too tired or to nauseaus that I just wished he would go for a nap or sleep longer during the day instead of cherishing and enjoying the time with him. So many times I could not carry him, because I was just to weak. Letting him learn walking mostly on his own because it was so painful for me to bend down constantly to help him. So many times I did not play with him because I just wanted to sit down a bit longer. I feel awful, I could not life up to my own standards. First moths of his life before pregnancy I was that active mom that was outside all the time, enjoying the weather and nature, crawling with him on the floor, I just wasn't able to keep it up. I look forward to the day I'm giving birth to just end that miserable state of being pregnant, but even then I just missed out so much on my son and I will never have the same amount of time again for him.

      @@buktagabriella nice that you ask. My older son is almost 3 years old and my little one will be 2 in December. As you can image the first year with a toddler and a baby wasn't always easy. But i could handle it much better than being pregnant wirh a baby/ toddler. Every day my youngest got older it became easier. Now they are playing together and it's the most beautiful thing to watch. I love it. But I'm still haunted by my pregnant days and my guilt towards my older son. But now i also feel guilty that my youngest never experienced alone time with me, the guilt just never ends, i guess...

      @erinhansen614 Год назад +1

      That's why experts say not to get pregnant 5 months after giving birth, but recommend waiting at least a year to 18 months before getting pregnant again. Your child will be walking without support so you don't have to bend down, they'll be on a good nap and sleep schedule, allowing you rest in your first trimester, and saving your back in the third.

    Thank you SO MUCH for this very energetically realistic video. I definitely cried the last remark about having enough love- and it doesn't matter how many times i've heard this. It hits like a ton of bricks every time and even has me thinking about how it began with my partner and I as individuals... our children are the result of our love, despite the extremely difficult adjustment this has been. I'm expecting 1-2 to be easier than 0-1 and mine are back to back. Immediately when I found out I was like, I got this. My confidence is high and it cannot be shaken by anyone else's experience. Becoming a mother was a shock in every way and since our brains are more acclimated each subsequent pregnancy, I do believe this has to do with the adjustment being the most abrupt physically, on top of the many lifestyle changes.

    I put the baby down and I am going to take a shower! I have 2 children, a newborn and a 3 year old. At least twice now I have been missing my older one as we don't spend that much time together now. Thank you for this video, it is good to hear that from another mum. :-)

    Thank you so much! I really needed to hear this. 🙏❤️ I have a 2 yo and My other son is due in sept/oct my son will be 3 October 2 so they will be three years apart. I’m also going to be moving possibly around the same time. I’m going to start IV iron infusions soon, I’ve been struggling so far with my energy being so low sometimes I can’t even stand up. My house is a mess, my son is very Hugh energy lol and very defiant and it’s just very strenuous and I’m so stressed. I have been so worried about what’s going to happen and how I’m physically going to handle it. I’m starting to try and accept it all and roll with it, but it’s very difficult to maintain a positive attitude and hope.

    My son is 3 and I've been struggling with the decision of having a second kid. I work as a middle school teacher, and I feel like I have so much on my plate. However, I'm already 35, so I'll have to make a decision quite soon. Your video made me cry, I think I want another one, but I'm so scared!

    Looking forward to ride the journey with a positive mind.

      How’s the journey so far? I’m expecting my second any day now and have a 2.5yo. I found this video because it really hit me today that I will have another baby any day and I’m panicking a little and wondering if this was a bad idea. 😅

    • @lailataoufik7864

      @@savanah831 hello from the future, it’s not harder than having one baby, the new born stage is the same as with our first the only thing is that during the day you have less time to rest. But of your toddler already goes to daycare or school u have plenty of time to rest. Just try to keep the routine of the toddler so that you don’t get overwhelmed. Sometimes they both cry at the same time and I take it five mints at a time.. You are stronger than u think ❤️

    Giving me some more confidence that I can do this. I'm very worried about having another child. Going from 1 to 2 is definitely going to be a challange but I feel a bit better about it now.
