Originally, I made this series to have people listen to the music, but I thought that people would quickly get bored of videos with only still images, so I made it into GB-style pixel art and moved it a little. I played Pokémon Red and Green a lot, so I know what GB is like, but this is not a demake that is supposed to run on GB, but rather an image of a GB-style Totk that can be played on Switch. So the BGM uses more chords than can be played on a single GB,and the screen ratio and pixel count are changed to the extent that the UIUX of Totk can be reproduced as it is. Also, it's simply to make it look better as a video and make it more impressive. I'm sorry if you're disappointed by watching this video. Hmm Here's a few good ideas for some projects - a GB recreation of the boss battle between Ganondorf and Link - a GB recreation of Wind Waker, Ocarina of TIme, Twilight Princess, etc - a GB recreation of other games besides Zelda - a GB recreation of Link pulling the Master Sword out of the pedistal - a GB recreation of some battle scene or action scene (difficult to pull off but would be cool) I love these GB animations you're doing. I can't imagine the amount of time and effort that you must've put into something like this. Very inspiring nonetheless. Thank You!

Well, about 15-20%? The physics engine is truly innovative for how robust it is, but Nintendo still need more experience to make open world level design work. Neither BotW nor ToTK has much open world leveling design and just simply removing the barrier whenever possible. Echoes of Wisdom might be the attempt of that instead.
@@FlameRat_YehLonboth games are full of clever level design. level design isn't a checklist of things it has to be structured after in order of it being considered good. Like for example the depths. They aren't strictly a layer of the world. They are an organic way of implementing a hard mode where you have the possibility to make the most of Zonai builds. They also reward you with gear, resources and knowledge about the over world. This is part of level design. Or the 3000 million sight lines that make you interested in the world. Just because it doesn't have linear dungeons are challenges all over the world doesn't mean its bad. TotK in particular has a ton of non linear and linear challenges thru out the world. There are many caves and shrines that take advantage of its unique systems. Caves are generally about exploration and orientation while shrines are puzzles and tutorials for all the Zonai possibilities.
@@StarWarsUnited123 I didn't say they have bad level design, they just don't have good open world level design. Nintendo basically lay down tons of linear levels in the open world and when needed, make the barrier very hard (but not impossible) to cross. Of course it's possible to play the game in pro mode to give a better open world puzzle solving experience, but most of the puzzles still don't need much planning and isn't very interconnected (as, many open world games ask the player to return to old puzzles for alternative outcomes but in both BotW and ToTK, once you are done in an area you mostly don't need to return for more, and you only need to return if you need to replenish specific resources. As for sight lines, aside from very important points of interests, they often aren't that reliable, and often times, when you can see something, you are almost there. Anyway, it's not like Nintendo did nothing to provide open world experience at all, but this definitely isn't there focus, being not that big of a portion of the game, and doesn't have much depth. Nintendo still need to accumulate more experience on this.
Sorry, my Japanese is not very good so I will have to comment in English. This is a beautiful arrangement, and the art was both lovely and really well done. The choice of scenes and timing also gave me goosebumps in a good way. Thank you for all of your hard work with these arrangements!

You are extremely good both at pixel art and at creating 8bit covers of the OSTs.
