Scary. She was beautiful before and looked a little younger, than her real age. Now she looks ageless, but scary and not beautiful anymore - at least not what I regard as good looking. My first thought was, when I saw her last pic from this fashion show, was actually: "botched".

Same. My mom is a natural beauty, looks very good for her age, but now a days, famous women above even 45 get so much work done to hide the years lived, or at least get Botox to high hell that they don't have any expression left. We need to go back to loving our stunning silver women for being the gorgeous & wise women they are naturally, instead of making our moms feel like they need to look like Aliens to still be considered beautiful!

The truth is that she was aging beautifully because she’s been doing some work on her self for a long time. The problem was the “overdone” work that she received... maybe she requested a drastic change or maybe the doctor had a different approach in mind.
At the end of the day, most of these celebrities are not aging “gracefully” without any procedures done... so is not fair to criticize her when in reality most of the celebrities that we admire are having plastic surgery in the daily basis, they just had a better/more “natural” result.

For people in accidents and with real problems, plastic surgery is a blessing. For the people who can't leave themselves alone, plastic surgery becomes a curse. What is worse than the actual unnecessary procedures done are the negative feelings about their bodies and appearance some people have. Probably the worst thing is that the people who worry too much about how they look tend to hang out with each other, reinforcing their obsessions and egging each other on to have more procedures.

I’m glad you mentioned the fact at 3:05 that “results should be undetectable.” There are a lot of people out there that don’t understand this, and think someone’s had work done only when it’s noticeable. People will look at celebs and comment on how they “don’t age.” Or how great they look and think it’s all natural. It’s not! I’m pretty good at detecting when someone’s had work done, when most people just think they “don’t age.” It’s called Botox and fillers. Or very subtle surgery.

The last picture I saw of Demi before this one, she was beautiful, I wished I aged so well. Then I saw this cover picture, and it is like someone put 15 to 20 years on her, and pinched her face up. You can see tiny dots around her mouth, like they sewed little stitches to tuck it in. I didn't recognize her at all. To think that she wanted to do so well, doing a Fendi runway, and that is what you got? And yet she still went down that runway and did it with such bravery. I admire her for that, but, what could bring your self esteem so low that you would make your face un recognizable? It can't be easy for her to see our comments, but we excepted her as she is, and everyone ages, some just do it better, and I can tell you, she did it quite well...till she started trying to be what she is not. Age is a gift, every wrinkle is time that you have been gifted on this planet, every stretchmark is a story of where your body has been, and all it has done. I hate that women think they have to be perfect, because none are. What is most valuable comes from what is inside.

seems like it's the same thing that happened to michael jackson. if you have enough money, you can have anything you want, even things that are super bad for you. demi was a gorgeous woman, but she couldn't stand to see herself getting older. she decided what she wanted, and probably a lot of doctors told her no, that's nuts. but she eventually found one that would give her what she wanted. hopefully she will not ask for a surgical anesthetic to help her sleep at night. i never understood the appeal of fame. seems like a prison you can never escape.

It looks like she had cheek implants years ago. That was one change I noticed that I didn’t think was flattering to her. It’s a trend now in Hollywood and in my opinion cheek implants look unnatural on most people. In the latest photo if you cover up her lower face, she doesn’t look bad. It’s the stretched, gaunt-looking cheeks and the weirdly projecting upper lip that make her look odd.
I wonder if this photo was taken shorty after her surgery. Perhaps her face will “settle” after a bit of time and look better.

Dear Dr Motykie, I would dare make some other remarks on Demi´s face. As a DDS and Oral Rehab specialist, she had also choosen badly regarding to this field along her carrer. As one can see in min 4:19 she had a nose and a smile very natural and, in my opinion, very good looking. After some years, tehre was a mouth job that increased too much the lenght of her upper teeth and she started displaying too much these teeth. In this latest pics, I believe she also had a very bad oral rehab again: she lost the vertical dimension of occlusion (what makes anyone older), had a full mouth rehab again ahead of the other facial procedures you nicely described!

Aging in the public eye is exceptionally cruel. Let's remember there is a person in there who was trying to meet expectations of her appearance and who is now probably hurting from people's responses. It is not easy at times to have empathy for the rich and privileged, but she has had a lot of emotional issues and substance issues over the years.
