@@ChaitanyaBhat21794 Ah, I see. I thought 2013 had a bit of a tiering system since during career modes I’ve watched on the game there’s a mix of Vettel, Alonso and Hamilton OP AI seasons. But I’m not surprised 2013 onwards got rid of it. Shame really especially after 2012’s.
Fascinating video, funnily enough I’ve had the 2012 version in my watch later for 12 months and managed to watch this one first.. shame that there wasn’t a huge variation, but still great to look at the classic game that F1 2010 is! Great stuff Nathan!
Those "performance" stats are only half the story though - they appear to refer to horsepower, so they'd be straight-line performance figures. The other "handling" metric, as well as inbuilt driver stats, will go some way to explaining the rest of the variance.
I'm just playing this game and after season 2 I rejected offer to renew with Lotus. I have like 24 rep but no offers, only interest - will that mean that after dragging Lotus all the way to Tier 3 I'll have to leave to joke called Virgin or HRT? I really hope not...
@@SamH94 yea same. But while I love it the problem is that through simulation the result gets affected a lot. I'm currently at the end of season 1 and it's a close fight between Mercedes and Ferrari. I then simulated a whole season (also season 1 in an other save file) for fun and HAM won the Championship by 120 points. Also AI car development is slower when the season is simulated it seems like.
@@Blackout201_ Yeah I did my first season unsimmed (I drove for McLaren) and Renault had the best car at the end of the season but the top 5 were basically equal. Hamilton won with one round to go but the top 3 was Hamilton, Vettel and Verstappen, and the race results were all over the place so all the constructors were dead close. It's a shame it takes so long to do a season unsimmed as that could make for a very interesting video.
@@SamH94 currently doing 25% races, short qualy (doing 2-3 runs), simulated training (sometimes do first and last program). I'm currently in russia and despite doing nothing compared to others it still took me 2 1/2 weeks so far.

I just don't get why they scrapped it for 2013 and 14 it just made the racing dull and now do you see why I do more than a season on career mode Mr Rules hehe
Hey mate u going to be doing a multi classic cars grid for 2019 again And also it be cool if u could do a championship of C1 cars like u did in f1 2006 TV mode if u know what I mean
Yes I am and I just finished the sixth season today. It will still be a while before the video goes up but I'm well on my way to doing the full 10 seasons.

Wow, I didn’t know F1 2010 career mode had some sort of tiering system. Very impressive and a new insight into F1 2010. Wonder if 2011 has it as well.
2010-2012 all had it. From 2013 onwards it was ditched until the resource points system was introduced
2011 and 2012 too

Vettel winning 3 championships in a row? Booori... so far so realistic
It would be interesting if the results are different if all races were 100% for all 7 seasons....
Ironically I am playing F1 2010 right now

BMW sauber wtf BMW left in 2009
Yes hahaha and they runned Ferrari engines irl. But oficially they still had to hold the name "BMW Sauber"
they weren't allowed to change the team name for some reason so they were forced to be BMW Sauber Ferrari
