    I honestly don't agree with placing Ivey and Duren on the hot seat yet. I really didn't see any real efforts towards their development last year from a coaching perspective. Ivey was placed in an awkward position that we all are aware of. The only player I would understand being placed on a hot seat is Isaiah Stewart. However, let Trajan continue to build this team and give these young men a fair chance.

    • @philosoqhy
      @philosoqhy 6 месяцев назад

      Duren had the opportunity via progression but I do get your perspective overall. Ivey & Duren next to the focal core via Ausar & Killian had a 40% win rate percentage. Cade when place with non shooters lost 28 straight consecutive in which 30 games into the season, he had a win percentage of 6%. Drafting Holland is nothing but a tank propaganda which will lead to Ivey & Duren exclusion unjustly.

    • @pheralanpathfinder4897
      @pheralanpathfinder4897 6 месяцев назад

      Why would a good defender shooting 38% from three be on the hot seat?
      Diren should be on the hot seat because he played bad defense with little to no improvement over the prior year.
      Sadly Ivey will probably compete for MIP after the Pistons trade him.

    • @brandoneric9785
      @brandoneric9785 6 месяцев назад

      @pheralanpathfinder4897 for starters, Isaiah only shoots like three shots a game. He has almost no impact on the offensive end of the court. There's no way he helps space the floor. He's going into this year on his 5th season at 23 years of age. Since you brought up his stats, tell me where he's improved?? Duren had far more impact on the game last year as a 19 year old kid. You expect him to be developed at 20 years of age defensively? Let's give Duren the same amount of time Stew has had, and I bet Duren comes out far more superior. It would be absolutely stupid for us to allow Duren to be traded at this early point in his career.

    • @brandoneric9785
      @brandoneric9785 6 месяцев назад

      @philosoqhy I actually like the Holland pick. I understand that it may seem like a bad move. However, look at the upside to his potential. I don't believe Trajan is tanking this team. I think he's laying the blueprint out to complete what Weaver should have accomplished. It's obvious Trajan is taking every players development seriously by the staff he's hiring. I'm looking forward to who'll be our new coach.
