Anyone who has her husbands brains blown out right next to her and yet remains strong and raises two healthy functioning adults gets my respect. God rest her beautiful soul.
She shot him. That's her secret. She was put with Kennedy to be his handler like all US presidents. I often ponder the doom he must've not knowing who to trust.

It was interesting and I really got lost in the story.
Jackie is forever an interesting glamorous woman.
She died so young
I’m glad she didn’t have to suffer the loss of her son five years later

It fleshed out other aspects of the family that gave me a different viewpoint

Jackie feared for her children’s life after the assassination of Bobby Kennedy. Jackie wanted to leave the United States for their safety. This other man was foreign and that was appealing to her.
I'm sure she did live in fear, knowing she'd conspired, shot & was the handler of her own Husband. She knew it was only a master of time before she reaped what she sowed. Vile woman
That might be a interesting book to read.
She probably despised JFK who cheated on her at every turn as she was well aware of his infidelities. She was an ambitious woman and she knew exactly what she was doing. Marrying another man after only 4 months of mourning is classic

It was a few months after Bobby’s murder that she married Ari. This was years after JFK murder. I can’t blame her; I would have left this country on first thing smokin if I had young Kennedy children. And Rose Kennedy had put her on a strict budget. It was time to go.
Ari was perfect for what she needed; money, security, and an exit from America.
Funny thing is Ari’s family thought she brought the curse to them.

Jackie was a darling child . The prettiest little girl. Very clever and very artistic and full of the devil. Said her elementary school teacher. Her behavior improved after the head Mistress warned her that none of her positive qualities would not matter if she didn't behave.
