Love your content Hayes, though not a fan of the choppy edit, hard to watch. Guess I'm gettin' old. I did this deconstruct/rebuild on Bill Cheatham to get something playable for me, cause, like Blackberry Blossom, it comes at you pretty quick!
OMG - nice content, editing is really bad. Sorry to be so harsh but it makes it hard to follow the content. Either crop the wide shots or reshoot - please.
@@HayesGriffin nothing ventured, nothing gained. Your commentary reminds me of something Paul Kowert said about his approach to bass solos. It was about leaving out many of the notes (and he used WBF as his example). I think it's a cool idea for guitar too at a jam because you can play less notes but play them louder since you're not needing to go so fast - and have something really interesting to say, and/or take a cool break on a song that you can't play as fast as everyone else. There's a couple of standards my buddies play that I haven't tried to learn because I know I won't be able to do it at their speed - but your video is motivating me to learn a simpler, interesting break for those! Thanks!!! (here's Paul's take on it for bass: ruclips.net/video/BSAN1zUxwYM/видео.htmlsi=lyRWpT8i21109nWw)
It always comes back to the melody, doesn't it?! I was just working on this with a student the other day. Great video, man!
Thanks buddy! IYKYK 😊🤘🎸
Back to bluegrass, once again.
Subbed and thrillled about it!
Awesome!!! Welcome to the fold 😊
@ just watching you on Acoustic Groove Box👍
@ Andy’s channel is 🔥🔥🔥
@ yes, it was interesting and fun listening to you both 👍
Great lesson Hayes!
Thanks Dan!
I love this. Very nice Hayes 👍
Thanks Kevin!
Is this video in the club? Can’t find it. 😅
Haha it is! It’s got a different title there, here’s the link: hayesgriffin.club/programs/whiskey-before-breakfast-fiddle-tune-demolition-gc-c84a5d
@@HayesGriffin Found it! Very tricky! 💕
Wow. What is the guitar you have?
The sunburst was built by Leo Posch in Kansas and the plain top was built by Tip House in Ohio.

Win some, lose some I guess. Not going to reshoot or re-edit, but thanks for the feedback all. Your voices have been heard ✌️

Look who showed up at 7:45.
If I don’t let him in the studio, he just scratches at the door 😂🐈
