Ape Escape 2: Blue Monkey Boss Battle!

After clearing a certain number of stage (either 4 or just 3), you're automatically sent to a boss battle against one of the Freaky Monkey Five. First up is Blue Monkey!
He is a police cop ape that lays down the law on any humans that's unlucky to cross him. He can move kinda fast with his motor unicycle, and he'll also protect himself with a blue ring.
If I didn't know any better, I'd think he was channeling Sonic more than you ever could with Jimmy.

To beat him, just chase after him with the Super Hoop when he crosses the lanes. Watch out as they change from blue to yellow to red. When you're on them when they're red, they fall apart and send you to your death. After you do hit Blue Monkey, he'll fall off his unicycle, get back on it, and grieve that you hit him, then he'll quickly dash away from you through another lane while covering it with bombs.
His health is represented by the light on his helmet. Once that goes from blue to yellow to red, he's almost done!
When Blue Monkey is down and out, you must then approach him and deliver the "coup de gras". CATCH HIM WITH THE MONKEY NET!

This will happen with all of the Freaky Monkey Five. You first have to battle them and weaken them, then you can catch them like an ordinary monkey.
It's just like Pokémon! Remember that you are Ash, and the girl that's guiding you is Misty!
