The saw is good you need to make sure that the saw is on a solid foundation and level I’ve only used it on cedar and hemlock fir. Both fresh and up to 3 years down. Only real down side I find is to the crank scale it’s not a 1 turn per inch it’s more like a metric 5 mm per turn. I just use a 4 crank for near 1 inch boards and 6 for 13/4 ish boards. Just try to keep the cranks the same for all boards.

One of these machines was suggested to me to buy. What’s your take on it? I’m looking for 26 model to be used 99% on white and black pine.

You think the price of those should come with electric start like other brands lower cost comes with electric start
It would be nice but it’s quite easy to start
