Is there a reason why VW never changes anything? honest question..the designs same..everything's same except minute stuff..boring in a way but..what're vw cars usually known for?
I mean, this car just clearly hasn’t gotten much in upgrades in interior/exterior/mechanically. Their newer cars have had significant changes (like the new Golf GTI & R). Granted, those weren’t all good changes, but they were definitely changes alright. The Passat’s a dead car. VW basically gave up on it.
They’re apparently stopping production of this after this year in the US…the US market got the shaft on this car. If you look at the European version of the Passat it’s sooo much better
Less things to break they still drive amazing lol. I haven’t had a single issue with my 2020 Passat in the about 3 years I’ve owned it. Can’t say the same for my buddies with their fancy ass hybrids n screens you don’t need all over the place 😂😂😂. The car is simple but comfortable that’s what it is and the price reflects the simplicity jf you want a couple iPads glued to your dash that are gonna cause issues eventually and a million features you’re probably never going to use this isn’t the car for you 👍.
You’re right it’s a bit behind with the tech but my guy are they ever comfortable it has about every feature you could need, heated seats CarPlay etc. digital screens for gauges never end well
It's like being transported back to 1998. I remember the way the leather smelled. I loved the red and purple gauges. Kinda miss it honestly.
I love VW's inside, it never fails
I know right? I'd take a Passat TDI.

Most of the other models got some noticeable updates this year
US Spec is outdated

VW really came through with the backwards time travel to give us a car this dated.💀

I'll take my 5 cyl passat over this any day
Such an outdated looking car 😂
