Juste Debout is an international dance competition with preliminary rounds in various world cities, including Amsterdam, and a grand finale in Paris for an audience of over 20,000 fans. In French Juste Debout means ‘just upright’ and was born in 2001 from the need for a competition for ‘upright’ urban forms of dance such as popping, locking, house dance and hip hop new style. More than ten years later, Juste Debout has become the largest dance event in the world and will be broadcast live, at least in France.

dj knows what it is...this is how you bring the best dance battles out of great dancers.
Woooow all of these dancers have grown so much! It's so interesting seeing how their styles have developed. You can totally see their influences too. Shay's totally taking pages from Jimmy Yudat, you can especially see it in his first round. While Lil Blade's out here lookin like a mini Paradox, of course with his own innovations. I can't wait to see how their styles continue to develop and become more unique to themselves.
but who knows? what if their inspirations are entirely different? instead of jimmy, what if shay says Killason....you never know until they say so...but good observation

Jeems musicality is simplistic genius. He's not flashy or power move heavy, but he's consistent, thorough, has excellent dedication to groove, abstract flow, and a respectable knowledge and foundation in at least 2 eras of hip hop moves and styles. One of my latest favorites, I actually prefer him over lil blade just because of how straight forward he is.
