We have to tell you guys that, dance is beyond the accent moves old new... To tell you the truth everything is already done since year we just all have différents taste and feeling... i'm agree with all the comment cause they are your personnal jugement... what's real is that dance is a long distance race... so let's continue to run together... (and about me being oldschool, i think some poeple should review what is hiphop... and they will understand that dance is composé of different style now sorry if i don't do the ney ney on every of my round but just for you to to know social dance is not the end of hip hop is just a part of it... open your mind... and peace)
Hopefully your comment would keep this entire section quite they just don't seem to appreciate different forms of hip hop , your one the best in the world in old school whereas Waydi is one of the best in new school.

i think they mean new school in the terms of being a young dancer and not doing the running man. Kids today wanna see kool waves and glides and few blow ups.
Blind to the fact that new cats can't do a Rainbow like u did in the third round. Thats innovative. That's new and fresh to the game. I already said enough though earlier. U already know what's up.
+DanielKeithMorrison If you know battling you would know that moves like the rainbow don't seal the deal in a battle. On the contrary Waydi hardly used any "blowups" in the last round. Js. Great battle from both though, I was so happy they did one more round haha
two completely different styles. two different musicality styles. its hard to decide who win. both of them are the winners of each style.

Can't we all just respect everyone's style? Dance is about expressing yourself, and bringing people together. Dancing is literally you, by putting down somebody's style, you're basically putting down them as a person. I'll admit I'm not very fond of old school hip hop because it was before my time, but I can still understand it and appreciate it. This was a close battle, and I think the reason behind asking if they feel like they won or not is to promote honesty and humbleness.
Niako marking Waydi's progression and improvement to the very top level.
Lookin at it now that Waydi has quit dancing makes me quite sad...
i know right.. I still find myself coming back here and watching his battles. hope to see him come back some time in the future.

I really, really loved Niako's style. So clean and smooth. He made it look so effortless. Both of them brought some amazingness to the battle, but I took a special shine to Niako's moves. :D

It s not about the " style" ,it s about a dancer's Whole Dance , his personality, his origiality , tecnical skills and evolution and many other important topics .. before saying " woow or Boooo" ... Waydi is one of the most talent of the Hip Hop NEW generation dancer but his dance still lacks a lot to reach NIAKO .. my humble opinion ;)

at the end of the battle lies that expression do not have old or new style simply because you can not put labels at your soul, the dancers themselve showed in the most solemn manner. So instead losing ourselves in comments about old or new hip hop(for me dancing is a deeply personal affair) indulge the magic of music and dance and enjoy every second of this video!!!!!!

100% respect to Waydi but Niako took that, especially the last round. Especially if we talking a hip hop battle. Niako was very consistent to the dance.

***** No offense but you are probably a fan of the dancer and not the actual dance. Cause to say Waydi Boiled him is ludicrous. Not to mention all rounds become void the moment the last round is presented. The extra round is the only round that counts the moment u ask for the extra round. Niako had a consistent groove. Beat killing is hype but it still has to be within the context of hip hop dance. Even o.g. new style dancers did the dance within the context of hip hop grooves.
beat killing can only take you so far the moment u meet someone who has the actual feelng meant for the dance.

But in SDF, the extra round is not like any extra round when you get a tie from the judges and its a tie-breaker, its a forth round and is judged with the three rounds before it.
I've thought like you, that the extra round is judged on its own, but people in the event told me that it's a forth round, not a tie breaker.
I think that's why Waydi won.

Les twins used to do this alot in their earlier years, as ssen in their juste debout 2011 battles or when say dance to "edit -Ants" .
As far as I understand it; other dancers use this as a bait against them and since Waydi is in the same Crew as the Twins (Criminalz Crew), Niako baited Waydis Crew :) .
