I do love how you point out how the framing of the two main characters (as a dichotomy of sorts) does show that while Wendy is "free" while Lucy is "chained", Wendy is in fact "chained" by her freedom. A perfect metaphor of how 21st century capitalism "frees" its constituents in theory but in fact traps them in an economic chaos overlaid by law that favours the privileged. Great stuff.
