Just went into NG+ for the first time tonight (03/06/24). I've had the game since it dropped. I'm stoked for what's to come and explore NG+ in more depth than the initial run through. Highest my character has been is 43. Especially now that we've gotten past most of the bugs and issues.

Content creators should always have the latest cpu. Your cpu is discontinued according to Intel. Get at least a 14600k setup. Or a second pc to stream 4k 60
Is a bit astonishing to me that, in a game this enormous and packed to the gills with content, that folks are anxiously anticipating the DLC. This ‘rushing to the end’ fiasco that’s become so prevalent in gaming right now is starting to feel like a disorder of some kind.
LOL, tell me about it. I've had three characters so far. First was a burner, just kind of got a quick look at things. Second I ran up into the 30's and got a good feel for my playstyle and best ways to make progression. Now I'm on my third and have worked all the main faction quests and major side quests, on my first NG+ pass at level 89 and I have over 760 hours in the game. These guys are at NG+11 and picking a final universe two weeks after release date. I know the game's a mess, but it does feel like a disorder.
most people are blindly lying, or really havent seen anything, or speedrunning, its all on them, they arent playing an rpg, the way its meant to be played

ill be happy if the crucible quest isnt bugged anymore I didnt see it in bug fixes so hopefully its gonna fixed but it isnt mentioned (Edit just got over 212 hours and level 84 on my character and discovered 3 undiscovered quests in the game tip scan and talk to ALL named characters)
Although I certainly appreciate that they keep tweaking the game to make it better; I was really hoping that survival mode or even just the difficulty sliders would be out by now. I thought maybe when added the shortcut to eat food directly that it was in preparation for survival. Once the full update is released I may check it out again.
I'm happy they fixed the eye of the storm mission I couldn't dock so yeah couldn't continue the game and being on my 10th NG+ lv 145 I'm not starting over once it hits xbox and I can dock I'll be extreamly happy
Same here. I went twice through the unity, maxed everything. Then I was kinda done and played other stuff. But I dipped back in this week. Went through the unity and started a fresh run. And I'm having a blast! They really have improved loads of stuff since I was in the game last year. ❤
@@RandomWandrer if your on pc, then the fsr3's fps boost is massive, i mean from getting 40 fps with dlss on high settings, im getting 80 to 100 on high, WITH render resolution maxed out at that

I haven't played this game nor do I own it, maybe in the future, but I am enjoying that this game is getting frequent updates, that is at least an assurance that the game will get better in time, now the reason why I'm not playing it currently is because well my hardware specs don't even meet anywhere near the requirements, sad thing is I just upgraded my pc, and even though I upgraded it it's still not powerful enough to run this game, but on the other hand I don't want to just barely run this game, I actually want to run it and run it well, which means I won't settle for 30 FPS or less just to play the game, I'm more of a 60 FPS or nothing person, but I usually strive higher than 60 just cuz I know it's possible, for example when I play Fallout 4 the first time 59 FPS was as much as I could get, then I found a mod that can boost the performance and now I get from 70 to 90 FPS in all areas, except for that one part of Boston that always brings my graphics card to its knees.
Don't waste your time there's no tools to help you explore in the game marketed to be an exploration game, and there's no space travel in the space game called Starfield. It's more like menu field, and loading screen exploration

Does anyone know if they have fixed the item ID issue where they were running out of IDs after too many hours of play time? I stopped playing when I started seeing the reported symptoms in my own game.
How about bug fixes? I run into an issue in the game. Everytime when I encounter a ship I wants to take over on surfaces, the ships won't drop their landing bay. Or in space when I trying to take over the ship. I find out the ship is empty. Without anyone on the ships. Thx!
That would be awesome. I've been waiting on that one, saw all the other ship/npc-related fixes and buffs but didn't see shields referenced either. I'm holding off on download until SFSE updates so I can't check it myself.
I'm still having trouble getting my star powers. I show up to the planet and it won't show it or the screen on the scanner twitching when your heading in the right direction
Yeah the first one is hard. The outside of the scanner circle should shake (like interference) when you're running the right direction. You only get the blue marker when you're close.
Did you collect artifacts before you went after the star power temples? That causes issues. I tried it out, do temples first, less change to run into that problem. Perhaps now fixed with the update.
@@holiday6948 I got now also with one temple. Can’t find it, shows up in mission but can’t activate the mission….. (The tau system I think it’s called gives the problem for me now. Prev play trough I got them all , one before that also. Could have something to do with temples each time you go trough the unity changes locations or something like that.?? Have to check if there only one temple now I can’t find or there’s more.

@@davewills6121 there are many vids on youtube showcasing , you CAN travel between planets seemlesly, you just cant land is all, but you can travel to them if you wish to put 7 real time hrs getting from one planet to the other........ dont try to be a smartass, especially when you dont know better
What miracles are you hoping for, Land Vehicles, Atmospheric Flight, interplanetary warp travel?, modders can't give, what the Game Engine was never designed to do.
Please for the love of sweet baby Jesus tell me they fixed your ship power settings always changing each time you enter your ship. Nothing like launching from a planet and getting jumped and you power settings are all screwed up.
Like with most games the crashes experienced by 200 people may never be experienced by 2000 or even 20000. In other words its probably a remote enough issue that people dont know its an issue or remote enough that its not a problem worth fixing
That's crazy 😂 I want 60 too. But having come back to starfield after months in other games, it really looks and feels noticeably better. Not sure what they did to the lighting, but the npcs look way better.
So finally I'm at the point where I ask myself if the game is worth downloading to play. I've had it since it launched, but haven't downloaded to play. Why? Because it's a BGS title, and 'God Tod' has told us "it just works". So now they have finally started to put the fixes in that it should have had before being released, the question is really down to whether the base game will get the Shattered Space DLC running on the new 'fixed' update, or if (as they have done with Skyrim over 13 years) they release the DLC with an update that breaks the game again? Thanks for keeping us all up to date on this. I'm looking forward to a review on a new play through to see just how 'fixed' it is.
Smart. Yes, waiting 6 months after release is the best way to experience bethesda games 😂 I'm on xbox and it is now for me a very smooth and bug free experience. I haven't tried building a mega-massive-mining outpost again (that background activity was what caused some freezing last year).

Being able to show facial expressions on photo mode mean nothing when you can't show your face or remove the helmet on the starborn suit

For me, the best thing about this patch is the abilty to show system names in the Starmap. RB on controller or Alt on PC.

This is still essentially an RPG. It will never be anything but an RPG. They're not going to plumb in Simulation mechanics just for transitions.
