I had a tough work shift last night and woke up with a headache as a result. Turned on your video and I’m feeling calm and positive again! Headache is gone! Thx! This was just what I needed.
Hi Wes and Amy... Loved the fact you liked it near Uxbridge It's the next town up from Hayes where I live.. Dad has stripped the boat out to the bilges he reckons it's a nine month job getting her ready to cruise... He's pulled the engine out and it's in pieces in the garage... Thanks from the the sixteen year old misfit who now has a purpose Xx
Just discovered your channel and I’ve been bingeing all your vlogs 😂 I’ve wanted to have a narrowboat for so many years and hopefully I’ll finally be joining you on the canals this year! P.S. Your mallard beanie is incredible, where did you get it??
"Is he even going to be able to eat an oat..? He's the size of an oat." ...lol... That's a brave mouse...doesn't even budge with apple being flung at him...(beside him ☺) Great episode again you guys! Amy you inspired me to totally change my hair. I went from dark brown to blond and I can't wait to experiment with Hot Pink! I've done the blond before but never a really fun colour so I am looking forward to the fun changes! It's so nice to see green... always love the scenery from the boat! ...we have had a few warm days 15C/59F very warm for here this time of year buds actually started to appear on the trees and we had a fly or two emerge. That won't last for long though. ..👋🙂
I loved this cruise, you both were so happy , cheerful, and sun shining ,it's looks lovely all along the water way .Thank you both ,have a great week .🤗☘️💚🙏
Hi Amy and Wes. This looked like the perfect cruise. Same part of the Grand Union that featured in Danni and Joe’s recent video. Rickmansworth was where my wife went to school. Her school featured in some of the Indiana Jones movies 🎥 Take care. Nick
The weather was amazing. That brought back happy nervous memories when we cruised from PJ Marina Watford back to Packet Lane Marina on the Slough Arm last year when we cruised 1st time. Thanks guys x
Hey peeps, it’s Captain Turnip. Your rubbish stop off and the by wash looks suspiciously like my pub stop on bike rides… The Coy Carp perchance?! It’s nice there.
A vole doesn’t have a tail as long as its body, that was definitely a juvenile rat. I’m sure you wouldn’t think rats are ‘cute’ if you had them on your boat?🙄
Ok, I truly do have a stupid question. How do you receive your mail/deliveries? Here in Kansas, when someone sends me something, it gets put in my mailbox, I order something, it gets delivered to my front porch. Obviously, that can’t happen for you.🤷🏼♀️What do you do?
There are no stupid questions! 💕 To answer your question: we also live on a narrowboat, and I’m presuming most of us do the same ‘ish’ Our son has our mail and large parcels for us, and small parcels tend to follow us to wherever we are (delivery points). People do use PO Boxes, but I think the majority of us rely on family/friends to help us out. Hope my info helps ❤
We would usually agree, but HS2 has just been a big mess! Costing around between £45-54 billion and destroying lots of houses, wildlife and trees etc to only save around 40 mins on a journey that already exists. And after years of work, they have scrapped some of it and its not even going to be completed in the full route originally planned 😅 we aren't experts but we don't like it because there are surely better things to spend 45 billion on in England, including making our current terrible train system better. 🤷🏻♀️
You don't like HS2 but the canals being built caused way more controversy back in the day for probably the same reasons you don't like it. People didn't like the Milenium Dome being built and also saw that as a waste of money. Now it's the most popular arts and music events centre in the country. When the UK won the Olympics bid for London in 2012 all the people like yourselves said it was a waste of money. It turned into the biggest and best event in living history and resulted in better lives for a large part of London. There are always naysayers for EVERYTHING we do in Britain. If we listened to them all of the time nothing would ever improve. I'm pretty sure in the future people will see HS2 as another achievement worth celebrating. Food for thought.
We do agree and usually we don’t mind new things being built including new railways etc, but HS2 is different, it’s been such a mess and it was just the fact that it’s completely unnecessary. The route from London > Birmingham already exists and 50 billion isn’t worth saving 40 mins on that journey in our opinion. We see what you are saying though!
HS2 is a vanity project that's cost billions and is an environmental nightmare just so a few London people can get to the opera 20 minutes early. Where are the northern links? Where are the Midlands links? On the scrapheap.
What I don’t get is why more people out in vlog watching land have not subscribed to your channel. I love all the narrow boat channels out there, but you two are one of the best! Come on people!! Hit subscribe! 🇺🇸🤗
you 2 literally drive me mad with your D.I.Y techniques BUT you are funny as hell and you crack me up. I love you guys

Behold the great weed too!
Did my driving test in Uxbridge...said there were no roundabouts. Passed 1st time. Never droved since.
It’s a mouse!!!

Great vlog as usual, As we didn't watch you from the start we have now backtracked we're on 52 you've just left Crick, quite spooky. 😀 😊
Have you discovered the aquadrome? There are some nice spots where you con almost watch the sun set. Very peaceful. Especially nice in the summer.
Yess! Next episode we explore it 😊

Ahoy Captain! Yes I think it was! It looked lovely 🥰
So nice seeing this as we did the journey down the GU to London and back in the summer. Great to see you travelling same route.
What a simply beautiful day!
The best! ☺️ grateful for days like this
Great vlog - seeing you both so relaxed on a cruise is lovely 😊. I will say that you sounded like I do if I had to run for a bus 🤣🤣
Thanks Michael! It was so nice - apart from the running 😂
@@BoatTime well I won't wait for the Boatime fitness vlogs (even though that might be quite amusing 🤔) 😁
That ‘vole’ you were admiring was actually a rat!!
we’re 99% sure it wasn’t! It was way too small to be a rat. But even if it was, we think rats are cute too 😅🐀
A vole doesn’t have a tail as long as its body, that was definitely a juvenile rat. I’m sure you wouldn’t think rats are ‘cute’ if you had them on your boat?🙄
It was a field mouse.
Great video guys. Good to see you both looking more relaxed than of late. Take care and stay safe. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you! Yeah we’re doing much better now we’ve slowed down 🥰 thanks for watching!
Loving you loving the boat loving the cruising xXx🥰❤️xXx

Come on wes exercise is good for you.Even running across the road trying to avoid becoming road kill is exercise 😂
Haha! I prefer more of a lying down napping approach to exercise 😂😂
Lovely cruise guys. 💚
Thank you!! 😊😊

Let's see wes on lock gates😅😅

Too many adverts on this channel now for some reason 🤷♂️🤷♂️
we haven’t done anything different, unfortunately it seems youtube have increased ads across the whole platform which is a shame!
Sorry about that!
I'd be interested to hear your opinions on HS2. Personally, I think investment in public transport is a positive thing
We would usually agree, but HS2 has just been a big mess!
