I met James a few times and he is a heck of a guy and a father! Everytime I seen him at my job his boy had a wrench in hand and that, that's something special right there!! He will try to answer your questions or point you towards an answer.I have learned A LOT through this channel as well as the other, "MOORE MOTORSPORTS". I have a 97 dx I got as a surprise from my wife after my truck was wrapped around a tree on the day of my great grandma's funeral.... I don't know why I never thought of trying to get a donor from him,🤦 my dx was hit head on on 2410 by a unknown large vehicle. Never even seen it. I was in the turn lane, looked right, went to merge and was nailed.... I spun around into oncoming lanes and drove across the field into McDonald's. Not one single moment I can remember except hearing a pop and then I was fighting the airbag... car is done, but the mini me set up was unscaved!

With that setup u could easily make around 300 or 400hp easy my fren have a ej with a d16 turbo makin atleast close 400hp

This almost inspires me to swap my k24 from Accord into my civic and put civic engine in Accord 😃 the d16y7 will be built plenty of room under hood of Accord for AC and turbo😁

I actually just sold my 1997 EJ8 Civic coupe that had a fully built LSVTEC with a big turbo that made 709 whp, but before the B swap it originally came with a JDM D15B VTEC that I turbocharged with a JDM Del Sol Si LSD trans and on 10 psi it was ALOT of fun and I actually destroyed a few FBO WRXs and even a modified Mazdaspeed 3 at a local drag strip. I loved it, but it was intense once I swapped in a B18B1 and used the same eBay 50 trim turbo.
Oh yea they are fun with the D series. I ran 19psi on a bone stock y7 and its on the channel somewhere lol It held but at 14psi started to head lift. My build D16y8 though it held 30psi until headgasket couldn't hold any more lol. I did ARP and it was fun!

Im interested to see how much easier it is on drive train since its a low torque engine but still high horsepower 🤔 i wonder if you can launch harder with lower torque 🤔

I’m trying to do a d series Awd build aswell but will a d16and 5speed Awd drive from a 96 Honda hrv bolt on an ek coupe?
That 500hp rsx was on all stock internals ?
Yes 100% stock inside. Only thing was 1500cc injectors, upgraded fuel pump and e85. Still stock lines too. I have videos on it all

So far just stock z6 but he has plans to either do a AWD D series transmission or a B series with D2B adapter plate
@@TexasHondaChannel nice, isn't the only AWD usdm d series the wagon one with RT4WD? There was a JDM one I think the S22 that was in the AWD d series Integra

@@TexasHondaChannel nice, it's good to see a d series AWD build in an integra. It gives him a cool factor. I always love how you do cool things on your channel. I always wondered if you could do a d series swap in a DA Integra and I checked Wikipedia a while ago and sure enough there was one in Japan that came with an SOHC D series. I've never seen anybody in the states so that type of swap though nor do I know what it would take. I bet if you had a welder and some spare steel that modifying 88-91 mounts would probably work.

There is only one true God of all creation and He is Jesus or Yeshua for the ones who wanna argue. I won't argue though i'm not here to argue the gospel i was sent to speak the truth no matter the cost Also the cam is stock as far as we know and it had been sitting so it was getting back into the swing of running. That was the first start with the D series and new fuel system. It had been sitting as stated in the video. Thanks for the comment. God bless you!

Just Complete D16z6 swapped in using solid B series mounts. He might go with the B series transmission with D to B adapter
