I'm a ride operator at Great Escape. I'm glad you enjoyed your visit and your first ride on Bobcat! People really do hate on that SF park way too much for what it is.
It gets way too hate because it compared to parks 5 times its size… Great escape feels like a truly small time regional park. I absolutely love that. I’m so happy they stripped out all the DC and Looney Tunes stuff after only a few years. I don’t really feel like it needs to grow much rather it just needs to be improved upon. Now that they’re about to be in the same chain take what Knotts Berry Farm does so well to Ghost Town and apply it to Ghost Town here, that would be amazing!
This is the first year the swan boats have operated since I think 2019. During the off season they replaced the dock and dredged the river. Bobcat is such a great addition. I live about 20 minutes from the park, so I'll probably be going more often now.
The great escape is amazing all the hate it gets is from spoiled brats who don't understand why the great escape is so special it's one of the last parks out there that hasn't been taken over by pop culture and stupid CC u can actually go and enjoy a day with ur family.
The comet from crystal beach park in Ontario Canada, I rode this coaster every weekend, I sure do miss it, it was my first big coaster when I was 11yrs old, crystal beach park closed down in 1989
I didn't know they returned the skyline building! Wow! But you're right, from what I've seen, this park gets way too much hate. It's also nice to see more picnic tables. It's also nice to see they saved at least part of Paul Bunyan with the dump bucket. I'm going for the first time in over five years next week and this is really hyping me up! I've been been craving that drop tower! The way they changed the Cinderella pumpkin/castle layout is wild to me. I remember riding in the pumpkin with Cinderella when I was little 😮. I can't imagine riding everything once and leaving. We always spend the whole day and ride things like twice (the raging river and sasquatch at least three😅). Gotta get your money's worth.
2:48 Obviously, the Adirondack Outlaw opened in 2021 not 2001 my mistake

I hadn’t been since 2018 but I was pretty sure I heard that they had been not operating for sometime. I had no idea that this was the first year back.

I think it’s the hardcore rollercoaster enthusiasts that hate on this park because not every single ride in the park is a thrill ride.

I just went to this park yesterday, 7.19.24, and the park was DEAD
Didn’t wait more than a few mins for anything
I’m excited to visit

It is a beautiful family park. Absolutely love it for my family. It has a purpose.
I rode the Comet as a kid at Crystal Beach and then as an adult at Great Escape. :)
Excellent vlog! It's my home park where I grew up at. I'm excited to go back with my kids later this summer!
Canyon blaster is actually a relocation, it was relocated from opryland USA, it was known as timber topper/rock n roller coaster.
Can you please do a review on hurricane harbor six flags over Texas?
I really want do a Texas trip next year that will be focused on water park! This one would definitely be included
People say Darien lake is better, Just because it has more coasters doesn’t mean it’s better
💯
Bobcat was awesome!
Do you think great adventure could invest in a flat ride like Adirondack Outlaw at some point?
when is the six flags great adventure vlog coming out
Also if you didn’t know El Toro reopened
I don’t typically dont “vlogs” at great adventure just park updates. I will be doing one July 1st for the 50th anniversary
Got it, I go to the park most often , Log flume is almost about to be done.
Lovely if you could post a park update pretty sure sir?
Great Vlog! Outlaw & HB 🍺
Do you remember Nightmare at Crack Axle Canyon?
Yep…it was closed my first visit in 2001 but I rope dropped it on my second visit in 2006. I wish I had gone more than one ride
Wow
It was special way back in the day. The 80's and 90's were its peak now, nothing like what it used to be!
