We have been pairing since August of last year. First time breeding and our female went off food. The breeder we got her from told us we should introduce a male and it would jump start her feeding and if we are planning to breed anyways it would be a good idea. She went hard on food for August eating a good small/medium rat every week. She then went off food 2 months later in October and hasn't eaten since. We have still been pairing 1 time a month but havent seen any ovulation. Feeding this week she seemed a bit interested but didnt take. Any advise would be appreciated!
Started breeding this year for the first time. Starting off slow with a lesser M to a normal and a lesser pastel enchi. 3 sucessful locks so far to each female.
Just got into it last year. I have females around the 1300 mark and I might get eggs this year. I'm a hobbyist so I'm very excited to learn a grow. You have some amazing animals, you will kill it these coming years!
Got my first snake maybe 4 months ago and am absolutely addicted already! I want to get into breeding so ill be doing tons of research for the next few months of anyone has suggestions!
I only discovered the hobby/industry last year. I was hooked! After doing a lot of research I purchased a female and a male with a very specific breeding plan. I plan to keep this a hobby until I retire from my day job. At that point I may make it a full time business. I’m excited to see what the future holds. I agree with you, that we need to share our passion for this hobby. I am sharing my passion with my daughters. They are in love with our ball pythons and as a result, they are exposing their friends who are now excited about ball pythons as well. 👍🏻

A question....When you squeeze em that tight to feel the follicles, will the follicles not be damaged?
No there is no damage being done!
The pressure is not super tight, just enough to feel them :)
