Fact! I've been with these guys since their trainee years. They definitely struggled within YGFAMILY to find their colour. Even their debute and style was different. They had a mature vibe from the getgo whereasin other YGartist did mostly hiphop style. The boys themselves said "we aren't the typical YG"... but that's what's so special of YGFAMILY. Uniqueness makes them YGartist. The boys gave YG a different vibe just like bigbang and 2ne1 did...ikon and blackpink give seniors vibes with their own unique twist and artistic colour. However, they put it there because Fiance is only loosely translated from the Korean word and thus, not exactly accurate to the true meaning off the word. The Korean word is what Korean use to address a fiance, not their own fiance but somebody else's fiance. So in short, the lyrics is about a man in love with a lady already taken. She already belongs to someone else, so it's not that he couldn't find her, he couldn't have her. And also the part about the "blue bird", it's a Korean old tale that translates roughly into the American saying about how you can't forget about your first love, it's a symbol for a thing/person that you badly desire but cannot have, and it would stay in your mind forever as the purest, most beautiful and most valuable.

You should deffo check out also Zico ( who’s in block b) and T.O.P (from Big Bang) they were also underground prior being in Kpop and them 3 with mino are actually one of the few idols that are respected in the rap industry too !
