Shame!), and I've been checking out reactions to this ONE song all afternoon, and I think you're the only one so far who picked up on the Marley vibes. I confess that I don't listen to a lot of Marley's songs extensively (I knoooow, I need to correct this asap), but when you hear it, you just... . His songs have burrowed deep in the music culture, it's almost primeval. So when I heard Bugoy's rendition, I thought he carried the spirit of what Marley would have brought to this song, too. Amazing. I know it's surprising that a Filipino could adapt that Carribean vibe, but you might be surprised to know that reggae is pretty popular here, especially when you live near the coastline.
