K-Edge sells the combo mount for Sigma, Wahoo and Garmin cycling computer. Be sure to check out our In-depth review of the K-Edge Combo Mount. gearmashers.com/k-edge-pro-combo-mounts-for-cycling-computers/ The big thumb screw is called K-Edge "Go Big Thumb Screw". It is a separate item and doesn't come standard with the K-Edge Combo Mount.
Thank you for the good review. Just a small suggestion. Set your camera to autofocus, please. I was waiting for the camera to focus on the mount/wahoo/light combo but it never did. Anyway, great video.
Just a note, higher end bike lights have the light formed so the further away (top) part is brighter, installing them upside down would not be a good idea in that case
I prefer having a separate K-Edge Go Big Handle bar mount for my camera/light so I can keep it in the correct orientation. Makes operating the camera/light way easier.
Hey Rich, I can totally see that. Trying to click the light button while it's upside down is rather difficult and if it's not on I usually have to stop, turn it on and then ride. The NiteRider OLED 1100 holds a pretty good charge though and I usually charge it about every 2 days if I am using the light, just in case. I normally don't mess with the light once it's on, so it isn't too much of a big deal for me. I do like having the light over my wheel and under my computer. Maybe they will come out with a light that is designed with buttons on the bottom. Of course you will still have GoPro issues.
Any issues mounting the NiteRider upside down putting the charge port on top and potential water intrusion? I know there's a rubber seal, but I am curious.
So using this mount and thumb screw looks to make it a little bit of a pain to remove the light for charging after each use, and resetting position when putting back in place?
Get those from Alixpress and mount a flashlight, an upside down niterider would not cast the light properly downwards unless tilted at a silly downward angle, or get the cateye gopro adapter and use volt series lights which are round and more suitable for upside down mounting and easily slides off for charging.
I agree with the previous gentleman's concern about removal of the light for charging purposes. Seems like they should've thought about that. I have to charge my light after every 3 uses due to my long commute. I actually like the quick release feature that my nite rider light has, sadly I cant validate shelling out this much money for an item that doesn't facilitate easy removal of it. Otherwise I'd probably buy it...
I wish these were made available in India...it would have helped my bike lights stay on the bike more rather than falling off the.flimsy rubber mountings....
The screw inside the GoPro's thumb screw has nothing to do with preventing people from stealing the camera. It's so that the camera doesn't shift/move when strong forces are applied. Sure this can also make it harder for someone to unscrew but the sole purpose was never meant as a security measure.
Actually they said it was for both when I talked to them. Maybe the security feature was after the fact, but it does give you a bit more piece of mind.
Gear Mashers hehe it's the worst when you're trying to unmount the GoPro and it's screwed on so tight and you forgot a screw driver. It's happened to me several times haha

Does the thumb screw used in this video come with the K-edge adaptor or mount? Or is this a separate item?
I am not sure. It's been a while since I did the video. You can contact K-edge and they should be able to tell ya.
@@MiniatureReview Thanks for the reply, after asking I did a little more searching and it is definitely a standalone K-edge product.

No issues so far. Light still works.
