I must admit I never thought of Banshee spam in this mission. I guess I was thinking about other hold-the-line missions too much where at least they bother to send detectors among the attacking forces, and never realized they didn't in this one. Also, I love the way the "allies" behave with the player: - *(When the enemy tries to mass units on an ally)* "Please, Raynor, help us, we cannot hold out!" - *(When the enemy tries to mass units on you)* "Defend yourself."
“They’re assaulting our base from the other side. These bastards don’t let up do they?” “Why would they? Tenacity is advantageous in war.” “Wh- that’s not... nevermind” Haha my favorite dialogue
I have to say, this guy is fucking fast. I downloaded the video, and watched it 4x slower. The move to switch barracks and factory, so that he could build tanks immediately, is brilliant! I don't even know that's possible. I follow his every move (including hotkeying the production plants), and i build the two refineries at the expansion, at about 8.1% progress. After several times of practice, I could do it at about 6.0%. He does it in less than 2.0%! His first tank comes out before 5.5%. I use the beam on Thor, and manage to kill the first wave with 1 tank and my bunker, with the latter nearly destroyed. This guy has 3 tanks against the first wave! His timing is simply impeccable. Speechless!
+Youssef Keyrouz He don't even place troops in Zagara's base. (Creep prevent buildings) BTW, Terran is best for defense as it has high armor and repairable building. Not necessary to use celestial beam for a good defense base: -Banshee destroy Void Thrashers. -Bunkers, Missile Turrets, Siege Tanks, Vikings defend base.
You are an absolute legend! I've been pulling my hair out trying to figure this out, then I find your video and you just breeze through the achievement! Keep up the good work mate 👍
i actually thought the thrasher would be excluded with the "no celestial beam" run. never thought about using banshees on this. amazing strat and i've been amazed twice by this since this looks like my second viewing the last five years or so 😅
SC2 Protoss campaign is so boring that its last mission is played with Terran... on the other hand, this mission is virtually "The dig" from Wings of liberty. Kerrigan would be the laser drill. Heh? :P
Well I have to protect Zagara and Artanis in order to get this done. In addition, used Kerrigan like 4-5 times at the first wave on zagara and the battle cruiser wave on Artanis, just to remove some pressure.
Nice job. My one criticism is that your bases could have been saturated with SCV's way sooner, if you kept up production. If you needed supply at the end you could sacrifice some SCV's... they would already have been mining for 10-15 minutes easily and would have paid for themselves. Besides that, very good.
I get that Warcraft and Starcraft are similar in terms of gameplay, but they're supply depots; not farms. Being someone who likes both games myself, I would still appreciate you get the structure right.
Great control but you didnt even help to zerg at start???? Let me clear this. Is it really brutal mode or there is something i miss ? Because if i miss any of attacks, zerg or toss cannot hold their base. Even with kerrigan beam (i did achievement on hard mode)
Zerg has an exceptional ability to recover and rebuild on brutal, so you only have to take out the heavy units in any attack directed at them, they can outswarm smaller opponents
@@leiratam You can't kill all of them with beam, you have to count carefully... but you can still bring them down to very low hp... same goes for battlecruisers and other tanky units

would be boring if they would defend everything by them self^^ and zagara is holding on pretty well by her self
I've been trying this for hours!
I even thought it impossible!
Thanks a lot for this video

Kerrigan may have had Zagara learn vision and tactics, but she forgot to teach her figurative speech.

if you send marine to collect resources around the map u can have 3 tanks like him, but that switching move between barrack and factory is so smart
Yeah. This guy is brilliant
Isn't that what terrans on a regular basis when they play ranked? Lol
@@Powd3r81 Yeah, this is basic terran strat
@@nhatminh3005 not just smart, he was so fast on putting them on time
THANK YOU!! I’ve been looking for a good tutorial for ages, and this was the strategy that finally got me the achievement!
Wow and both artanis and zagara survived. Awesome video

I just recently got the no beam achievement, after numerous attempts, and in all that time it never occurred to me to switch the factory to tech lab.
i actually thought the thrasher would be excluded with the "no celestial beam" run. never thought about using banshees on this. amazing strat and i've been amazed twice by this since this looks like my second viewing the last five years or so 😅
This maybe the best brutal walk through, why people are not up voting it?!
i never thought this mission can be finish without using kerrigan's beam... I bow to you sir
That was awesome! Great control!
Very nicely done.
the best walkthrough
5:28 scv is like me trying to reach her heart =(
and scv managed to with the help of Friendship!
imagine it's actually the one to land the killing blow, mvp scv 😂
near the end when you got the max cap for army just spam the planetary fortresses for insurance
These are very nice, but will you do any challenges like that for WoL and HotS?
AMAZING!

Wow... so great
omg, i just i can not do it bro D: .....good for you! your are very good :D
Great strategy.
good... very good.
Such a good game
Impressive! I was wondering if this was possible.
The mini map looks like mini map of the end in minecraft
Bruh you are such a chad wp
As 2021, zagara dies early so this is kinda much harder... actually I can’t do it T.T
Well I have to protect Zagara and Artanis in order to get this done. In addition, used Kerrigan like 4-5 times at the first wave on zagara and the battle cruiser wave on Artanis, just to remove some pressure.
That was genuinely fantastic.

he is better player than you are
saturated with SCV's way sooner..... nonesense, if you try this one without the cele beam
And he did all that without engi bay walls
Modified it slightly, but this vid was the one that finally helped me beat it! Although I did use the Celestial Beam. & more farms to block paths.

Touché. & you're right of course. Didn't even notice the error until you pointed it out! Old habits die hard I guess.

What's wrong with using beam at least for the thrashers?? You still get the achievement
