Nice compilation and description of using these devices. I spent 13 years working with a very small DC who built electronic systems and subsystems for the primes and smaller suppliers (Scan Eagle, Integrator, Fire Scout, Reaper, GH, and more). The abilities are incredible, but they can be fooled and they depend heavily on the operator analysis. One must think of themselves as a signal generator that needs to reduce observable signals across all planes. FYI, we ran a program that required us to use tracking on components to avoid competitive-state manufacture, U.S. manufacture was our top request and extremely difficult, and pricy, to provide.
Yup, this technology is scary. So far more advanced since I got out in ' 91 . We had thermal images on subs just before I got out to search for hot spots in fire situations. They looked like a huge deer spotter . Now they can fit in the palm of your hand. But, even with this technogy, everything has limitations. Natural things such as terrain, vegetation, severe weather ect. Thats why still to this day there is no weapon as reliable as a trained human.
I was trying to explain this to a bugout partner just the other day. If they want to find you bad enough then they will unless you are highly disciplined. None of us want to end up in a FEMA camp involuntarily. This is a great starting point for the uninitiated. Thank you Top! I am AF.
The government and these effing balloons already. What a fuching waste. "What do we need to shoot down a balloon? Def contractor: "We'd recommend an F-22 Raptor. Government: "Sold". LOL
@@tracyrreed slingshot using low earth orbit. This is how NASA would do it. How about the hexagonal object over Michigan today at 40k? F16. What about the cylindrical shaped object over Deadhorse, Alaska? You got yourselves in a bit of a jam over there. Who pissed in the Aliens coffee?
Just an excellent video. Very helpful in understanding the full spectrum. I wanted to take the opportunity to thank you for everything you have thought me over the last couple years. I finally got some extra time to apply many things you teach and I'm very grateful for the experience. Big appreciation for the thoughtful efforts you put into your channel. Sir!
I was just watching you military area recon video and I was going to address what to do about avoiding UAV detection and low and behold, here's the video. Biggest draw back is trackers on foot using thermal imaging. It would be crazy jard to hide in the dark then because itll be super difficult to stay hidden.
Wifi jammer , signal blocker/ jammer , laser interference to video camera . Perhaps a perimeter defense system above you that shoots birdshot at the target automatically targeting the drone above.
Really good information Bill! If the war in Ukraine has shown the world anything, its that lower cost drones have changed the way wars will be fought in the future! FYI: When our agency first got IR scopes, we learned that even at close distance, if someone is behind glass they won't be seen.
After all, it is possible to amplify sound waves from a distance so that a person's speech can be eavesdropped. It must be possible to use such equipment to amplify the sound of drones. When looking for atroids, you take pictures with a certain time delay to see which objects are moving. This can be seen with the naked eye. If we can use different sensors to detect what is on the ground, then the same sensors must be able to be aimed at the sky to detect what is there.
Great info. Questions: 1) How well do IR read red or green lamp light? 2) When we wore woodland bdu's, we were told that they were difficult to spot with IR as long as we didn't use the wrong laundry detergent or add starch when pressing (obviously I'm not a combat veteran). I never believed it. Was it so?
IR Will see light. How well it does will depend on brightness. Low powered red light will be more difficult to pick up. GI BDUs work well against IR, they don’t seem to “reflect” light (I’m sure there’s a better word for it).
I have worked in the drone industry and I will let you know that some of what you say is true but you unaware of the capability of a lot of the commercial drones and the payloads that they carry. Many of the 100k + sensors can be rented rather than purchased and many agencies and even bad actors rent them.
I'm not in the business of working against my government. The government is in the business of working against me, and you. I want to be left alone to live my life in a self-sufficient manner. Unfortunately that is unacceptable to my gov.

Outstanding! The SERE Challenge will have thermal drones one day
I got one on my list!

yup you are right
Appreciate you sharing your experience!
I hope that in the future when everything will be run by AI with algo we will be able can fool them😎😎
@@STOKERMATIC Unfortunately, I can't on an open internet, but well done you hit all basic..

Sasquatch is great at staying hidden he knows how to go into another dimension a realm we can't go into
Awesome Bill. Thanks!
Great video. Thanks. God bless. From Glenn CATT in Massachusetts.

😂
How do you propose to shoot down a balloon at 60k feet?

This is precisely what I was looking for. Absolutely stoked, keep em coming!
Nice introductory video brother, cheers!!!
That was REALLY interesting Top. Good job.

Good informational video , thanks for sharing , God bless !
Great video! Thanks!
THANKS BROTHER, I DIDN'T KNOW ANY OF THIS 👍
I appreciate you brother
Now we need to see how to to it in the field. Field test. Great video. God bless. From Glenn CATT in Massachusetts.

yeah used those systems ....it is pretty complex..SIGINT, COMINT, ELINT..many subsections....GEOINT, MASINT....
Indeed
Good video. The S2 underground has good info on this topic as well.
Fantastic content. Great knowledge to have in the tool kit. I feel we sometimes take our eyes of the skies

Do you have a recommended cell phone signal block pouch you can add to your amazon page please, thanks
I don’t - anywhere I’ve gone where my phone would posed a risk, I didn’t take one

WOW….
It is illegal to jam. Drone controllers operate on 2.4GHz, 5.8GHz, 433MHz and 915MHz. Again it is illegal to jam.
I'll say just don't be the top priority. That's a lot of resources involved. Death by a thousand paper cuts. Is better than one stab wound.
Giving away diamonds Louie!
Worse than hound dogs on your trail. 😮
👍
Id say more like a state/agency/government working against its people…

The drones that Nazi Ukraine is using are Chinese DJI Drones with a 7 mile distance ability.
So, what you're saying is that we're all doomed to be slaves.
yup, u have no idea how bad it is .....if you use a cellphone there are few software like...MOBILedit and others....

Also if you're more worried about drones than the Babylonian rectangle of death you carry every day Id submit priorities need to be reassessed 🤔
