Hello how are you
I want to study english with you 🥀🥀🥀🥀🥀🥀
It's an useful video. In Kuwait, we use WC in the public places.
I grew up with both British and Canadian English, with some American influence, being Canadian. I often use the word toilet and bathroom. My mother use the word washroom. When I was a child. I heard people using the word Loo. I don’t hear it as much anymore.
Thanks Emma... You're Great...👍
Thank you😊
Thank you Emma for sharing
Thank you so much Emma.
Excelent teacher Emma, thank you for time.
LATRINA comes from Latin: LATRINA contraction of LAVATRINA that means: toilet or bathroom or washroom. As usual a wonderful lesson by Emma. Bye
Love it!🥰
Thank you 🎉.
Hi 👋🏻 I stumbled right now on this interesting video. I don’t understand why I’ve never "met" you before… Your way of speaking is so clear and nice to hear for me.👍🏻 Thanks for this quite important and useful topic.😅

We miss your video about IELTS 😢
much obliged Emma
Thank you so much!
thank so much teacher
saludos desde MEXICO🤩🙃🙃😊😊😍
Finally You Alive 🤩
Thank you
What an interesting topic. In Spanish-speaking countries, we just say baño. We also have old-fashioned words like escusado, retrete, and inodoro. And to sound more polite, we can say servicio or tocador (powder room).
Emma, I love your English videos. 😊
The word "latrine" is very common in Africa, especially rural Africa, where the 'washroom' is a structure with a pit hole. Usually toilet functions are done into the pit and no water is involved.
THANKS
In Japanese sometime/where/one use "お手洗い" or "洗面所" which literally means washing hands or washing face room so It's similar to washroom. W.C is also used in old cafes and restaurants. The most commonly used word is "トイレ" which is "toilet"'s Japanese-English. p.s."手" = hand "面" = face "洗い/洗" = washing "所" = place

thanks mam
Que lindo se escucha en expresión de Ema. 😊
Super! For me is not easy to hear somone speaking but I can understand your english. It is clear an not fast for me. Congratulations by your channel. I liked.
I'm not a native English speaker but yes here in UK we use toilet or loo as common expressions I think or understand the lavatory is the sink, I remember to see WC particularly in countries where English was not the mother language and always wonder what WC means?? 😂 finally I understand letrine as a Latinism which means a very old toilet used in the farms and it was like a hole in the ground...
Common with architects'' drawings.
I remember village latrines very well 😂
Emma pretty lovely teacher
My grandma used to use latrine in Portuguese (latrina). I was always wondering latr-what? What the heck? :D Great class, Emma - as usual!
"Latrine" is very common in our Asian country Bangladesh. We also use "Bathroom" & "Toilet".
In Brazil is common to see the "wc" on signs especially at restaurants and public buildings.
I will use the word loo....I kind of like it..😂 👍🏻👍🏻🇧🇷🇧🇷
In Turkey, we call tuvalet (toilet) or WC. And of course we have a lot of words that define the toilets such as; hela, lavabo, rahatlama yeri, abdesthane, ayakyolu, kenef and yüz numara. But these things that said in the last sentence are not useful so what i mean by saying this; these words are not using daily life. we use "tuvalet or lavabo" in daily life.
I am from India i love your video, i made a diary to note every word that you taught ,
