Hi from Australia, by the time you get this message you will be over the worst, I am a retired nurse, I just wanted to say please don't let you pain get to bad because I takes alot to get to pain under control when it's to bad...Your looking cheerful, your family are so supportive and loving...sending blessings from across to world.
These are the kind of sons everyone would desire to have. They will be great in the land. God bless them and the entire family. Praying for your complete healing Joas. "Many are the afflictions of the righteous but the Lord delivers him from them all."
Your boys are enthusiastic, safe and knowledable beyond their years. If I wanted an Alaska get away build I would have no problem having these two young men build it. Dad could oversee from his recovery recliner!!
The home is beautiful, your boys are amazing sending lots of prayers for you Joas and your family. You are all loved out here in cyber space. Take care and God bless you and your family every day ❤
Joas, Priscilla & family praying and believing much for you. Keep going in faith. God is moving with healing and restoration for you. Your reasoning and trust in God is precious. Ps. 18:30 Love you and Jesus loves you so much more! Love your choice of background music and enjoying your boys working too.
Thank the Lord for bringing him through the surgery. Priscilla, you are such a blessing. And might I say your children are amazing. They are so responsible are able to adjust to any situation. God bless all of you and get well soon.
I’m surprised that they never sent you home with some pain medicine when you left the hospital. Your sons are amazing. So glad you have a great wife and family to help you. I love watching your beautiful videos of the couple side! So glad you pain is subsiding. Prayer is the key! Thank you Jesus!
Another thought: perhaps you all should be wearing safety harness' when ya work on those builds???? When I was younger I worked on shingling roofs, etc. for one hot summer. It paid well and I needed a job in-between college break. The first time on the roof, my brother told me to be careful standing completely upright until I got used to things. Well, I thought I could just handle it, snapped upright too quickly, and sure enough, I lost my balance. He saw it, put his arm out just in time to prevent me from falling backwards. Wow what a lesson. Our safety harness' came in that following week and we all wore them. Yes, I was the only female on the crew yet those harness' prevented other future issues with unforeseen tragedies with the guys!
Ever since Joas fell it gives me the Heebie-jeebies watching the boys crawl all over that steep roof ! But I guess you can’t let accidents paralyze you . Hope your healing nicely Joas !
LOOKS LIKE YOU ARE DOING MUCH BETTER THESE DAYS WITH PAIN MANAGEMENT. I AM PRAYING FOR YOU JOAS THAT YOUR DAYS ARE FILLED WITH LOVE AND JOY AS YOU ARE HOME HEALING. I KNOW IT MAY BE FRUSTRATING NOT BEING ABLE TO DO THE THINGS YOU ARE SO FAMILIAR WITH DOING, BUT YOU WILL FIND YOUR WAY, I KNOW YOU ARE A STRONG INDIVIDUAL. GREAT VIDEO AND LOVE TO WATCH THE BOYS AT WORK AND FAMILY! MUCH LOVE MILLER FAMILY!
Hello Joas, I wish you a speedy recovery and less pain. Now rest well, you are lucky to have an angel next to you, Priscilla. Be blessed, the Lord is with you. Gruss Gott, du bist mit starken Söhnen gesegnet, die deine Arbeit selbstständig fortsetzen können. Ich wünsche dir eine schnelle Genesung. Preiset den Herrn
I've been saying prayers for Joas and am so glad his surgery is over. Priscilla, I know how you felt while waiting for his surgery to be done. My husband had a few different surgeries on his heart, knee and abdomen. Each time I was quite frazzled even though I knew the outcome would be in God's hands. We also experienced the frustration of not having pain meds called in. My heart went out to you during this video! God bless you all.
Praying for a speedy recovery! I have to say sometimes i think they send you home to soon after surgery! Insurance Companies charge you a fortune and insist you go home at their desire.
Real glad that you're surgery went well, and your positive attitude, if the whole country had your attitude, it would be a much better place!! God will provide.😊
God is so good. Your progress is excellent. The house is beautiful. You taught them well. 😊keeping you in my prayers. Thanking God for His grace and mercy on your life. God is faithful. Thank you for sharing your journey. It is such a testimony of God's goodness.
My word, those young men are sometimes else! I know youre not supposed to be boastful, but these 2 are a parents dream!! Bless all your hearts, prayers for a great recovery and protection for the boys!! Hugs from Missouri 😊❤
Godbless you Joas has you heal from this long operation. And bless the surgeons that performed this delicate operation. Be strong and stay relaxed during this time. You have a good wife and family who we know will support you until you're strong enough to get about again. Much love and blessings to you all during this Christmas period. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
My husband has had over 7 surgeries. 2 rather scary and serious. He's in ther military and as he says, you'll never be 100 percent but you will be able to work and figure out your new you fairly fast. He also avoided all the meds. He hates feeling weird and doesn't like to be asleep from it all. We are praying for you and I know this had to be draining and a lot on the family, but you will heal in no time. We are grateful you are alive. Prayers and well wishes to you Joas. And thank you Priscilla for keeping him afloat.
If you don’t mind, some video of how you actually transfer inside the home as well as in and out of the car would make us aware of how grateful we should be having health and mobility, and show us what the handicapped in this world go through on a daily basis. Continued prayers for you, Joas, and the family. ❤️
I am SO sorry you had this experience! You are not alone in having issues filling prescriptions for pain meds after surgery! I recently had a significant surgery - but less major than yours - and I was in the car with my pain meds wearing off while my family was in the pharmacy desperate for them to fix the issue and fill the prescription. Thankfully, the pharmacist finally filled it, and my family rushed it to the car for me to take with only an hour before my pain meds would have fully worn off. This was the same day I had surgery. I could have easily been in exactly your shoes. We need to pray for our pharmacies. And, hospitals need to keep people an extra day or so if they are unable to fill prescriptions in time to keep their patients comfortable and healing at home.
Sending Healing Prayers for you Joas.I am so proud of your boys for stepping up to finish the job. Your wife is so wonderful for taking care of you and the kids.God Bless you and your family
Isn’t it wonderful that we know that God cares for us, always, He does not sleep or slumber (psalm 121!) and that we may have doctors who have been blessed with the knowledge and skills to do these operations! A gift of the Lord, whether they realize it is not! May you receive the patience to recover and have your strength restored and your wife have the patience and strength to car for you, and look after the household at the same time. May the Lord bless you all, and thanks to him that the outcome of your fall was “only” your broken heels. He preserved your life for your wife and children! Thank you Lord for your mercies every morning anew!
When you said your place wasn't wheelchair ready, that reminded me. My parents hand built their home and I never understood why they said they made everything wheelchair accessible, but they are older and both my brother and I were on crutches at the same time.
I can't imagine with two feet. I broke one ankle a number of years ago on all four sides and ended up with rods and pins galore. I am thankful that I didn't have to go home the same day. Ouch !! I couldn't walk on it or any weight for three months. That was so hard trying to take care of myself. I can only imagine with two feet ! I still have a lot of pain with that ankle. It doesn't like air pressure change or cold weather. I only got two hours of sleep last night. But then I had complications with healing due to a disorder I have. So glad your young men got to go flying. Praying for you Mr. Joas for a total speedy recovery. God bless and keep all of you.
Prayers for you, Joas and for all of your family. Justin & Ethan have done an awesome job, but I’m sure they were just as glad to get home as y’all were to have them home. May the Lord continue to heal you and bless your whole family.
Saludos
Praying for You Joas for healing! And prayers for pain management! Wonderful to see your twins get to Fly!🛐 🙏🏻♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️🙏🏻 Thank You for this beautiful video!☀️ The Moose = How Precious!🥰
Watching the video and seeing the pain that Joas was in after his anesthesia block wore off, I was wishing you all knew about homeopathy......I have lots of personal experience - myself, friends, and family members, using it for post-op pain as well as preventing infection and promoting healing. It is a learning curve but so worth it to learn a healing art and science to take care of your family and to build up a remedy chest that will take care of most issues, even many chronic ones. Plus there are courses available to take online to get started and to go into depth as well as courses for whole families, including homeschoolers.....safe, effective and gentle medicines........ Loved that he's taking Dr. Christopher's medicine as well!
So glad you had surgery to repair the damage to your feet and now you’re on the recovery path. Your sons and the folks working with them did an amazing job completing the house and I must say it’s beautiful. We appreciate you going to the extra effort to bring all of us along on your journey of every day life. I know it hasn’t been an easy process. As always, our prayers are with you all and we wish you the very best with the healing. God bless !
Continued prayers for your quick recovery. Blessings to the entire Miller family . A great team effort on the chalet. It looks amazing. Glad the boys got to enjoy the airplane trip.
Very happy to hear all went so well with the operations! Glory to God ❣️~ 🙌🏻 Wonderful updates that truly are a testament of God’s Hand on you all❣️ The boys are making you proud! Bravo to all of you how you’re carrying on and glorifying our Lord and Savior through all you are doing, and handling this unexpected big scary serious bump in your road. God’s speed in your healing process❣️🙏🏻❤️ Very impressed with your wonderful team of Doctors etc. and the care you’re receiving at hospital and at home. I was worrying about your feet being completely covered and you not able to get your toes moving to help with your circulation ~ so happy to see how they left them open ~ really great bandaging! And too precious to see the baby moose eating your new lawn. Of all the foraging out there in big ol’ Alaska ~ baby moose found delight in your yard❣️😎❤️ Priceless 🙋🏼♀️😍 Rest Well Praise God❣️🙌🏻❤️🙏🏻
Our prayers 🙏 are still with you Jois, on your recovery. Remember "time, heals all wounds". Keep faith in our *Lord Jesus*, and soon you'll be "back on your feet" You and Priscilla, sure have taught your children right! Your twin sons surely have learned the 'building trade', and really know what they are doing! Keep the great videos coming!
Glad you had a good doctor and good nurses and successful surgery-many people have a concern taking painkillers after major surgeries but I’ve seen the best success with healing is to stay on top of the pain the first 2 weeks then surprise the pain gradually subsides so they can be ok with Tylenol and 2 weeks can be a huge difference with their healing process and recovery and yes those ice machines are a great invention 🥰
I am so glad that Joas' pain is being controlled. We will continue to pray for your healing. The chalet is beautiful! Your sons are so very smart and work so hard at such a young age. This generation of young people could (and should) learn alot from their wonderful attitudes and work ethic. God bless!
Oh boy, so sorry to hear about all this.. Keep hydrated Joas. Dehydration is the number one reason for blood clots. Keeps those legs elevated. If you can, contract your calf muscles as often as you can. That action acts as a pump to keep your blood flowing.
So sorry for your injuries you have been suffering through Joas. From watching your videos, I can tell you and your family are very resilient and always keep in mind all your blessings. Joas hope every day is better for you and your family.
Having had rotator cuff surgery and also having the block I did not feel anything for about 36 hours but when it started wearing off talk about a reality check...... I was so thankful with those pain meds! So glad to see that you or on this side of the surgery and that the healing process has begun. You both have done a wonderful job with those twin sons of yours. They are growing into responsible young men. Just more of God's blessings❤
I know it is a great relief/ peace of mind for you that e+ j have your back and can carry on the responsibility to complete the project. It's beautiful. They are a tremendous help along with the rest of the "team". It's scary but you will come out the other side so much better. Take care of yourself, there is plenty of TLC from Priscilla too. 🙏🏼
I am glad to hear you are on the mend, Two eldest sons have stepped up, taken the weight of work and responsibility of their father onto their shoulders, and they will never be the same again, because they can see and have experienced it, that they can get by and do a good job also there work is still very good. That"it" is freedom and accomplishment without supervision. A great development in a young man's life. You need to recover and putting out RUclips videos for the next 3 months is not important. I am sure you will not loss a subscriber, they would be happy for you to get well and when you are walking again, start videoing again. Take care.
Continuing to pray for you, Joas, and all your family. I love to watch your videos. I just had shoulder surgery, and recognize your ice machine. 😂 prayers and family have gotten me through, and I know they will for you, too. God bless you all. Know that you have one silly "fan" that loves every positive thought you post, and wishes you all only the best.
Gottes Segen weiterhin. Grüße aus 🇸🇪
Prayers for you and your family. Watching your boys on that roof makes me nervous ! But they are impressive to watch! Take care and soon you'll be up and running!❤❤❤
She is a wonderful lady ,I know she was very worried a bout you ,and Michael and your boys are doing a wonderful job, Joas just relax and heal your self .
Im praying for your qick, complete recovery. The Lord can heal instantaneously, but more often He wants His glory seen through walking us through the hard times. To God be the glory. You and your family are trusting and relying on Him. Pricilla, you are being prayed for as well.❣️💞🙏🙏🙏‼️
So happy to see you on your way to recovery Joas, and thanks as always for bringing us along on your journey through your videos, I still haven’t been able to watch the accident video #2, just in case it showed the fall and you in pain…take care and god bless Bill
Praying for you Jonas! I really like how your videos are put together, I love when you showed the night sky.💫Not to mention just watching a beautiful, wholesome, hardworking, fun christian family!
Prayers for continued healing and complete restoration, Joas. The cabin turned out so beautifully. Such wonderful family and friends to finish that project. God's mighty hand be with you.
I am so impressed with your boys. You are so blessed to have them to be able to just carry on building the cabin. You and Priscillla have done a great job raising all your kids and teaching them skills they will always use. God bless you and your family.
Thank you for the updates so we can Praise The Lord with you. It's amazing how God’s timing works to bring all your family and support together to get the Millers through this season of life. The boys have been so trained as wonderful builders and work under Michael's guidance and Emily, next door, to assist with the girls while sweet precious Priscilla is at the hospital with her beloved. Praise God surgery went well and recovery is coming along. May you continue to be Blessed and show the love of Christ among your viewers and subscribers. Prayers, concerns, love from GA
Thank you for keeping us updated. Prayers for your continued healing and pain relief! And strength for you and Pricilla ! So happy it’s over too! God bless❤
Praying for your recovery and healing Joas. I still cannot believe that you are allowed to go home on the day. Greetings from the Kaiser family UK Gute Besserung
So glad the surgery is over. Praying for continued recovery. Good to hear about the pain meds helping when they were needed but also glad you're off of them so quickly. The log house is progressing nicely. Joas you have some quality workers. The scenery was beautiful. PTL for good doctors & nurses. ❤
Stay strong Joas. Those ice machines are awesome for keeping the pain under control. Your body can heal better when your pain is under control. Praying for healing and strength. Love you guys and your family and faith.
Praying for your healing. God is good. Yes one day at a time. I so think we take each day in life for granted. But whatever happens is always for a reason.
Good to know this isn't your doctor's first rodeo. Keep on trusting our Lord. I just KNOW both of you are going to do GREAT! Thank you for taking the time to keep us informed. Count your blessings Joas, if it were not for your beautiful wife driving you home after surgery, you would be out on the highway hitchhiking your way north! :-)
Hang in there brother. God has made the body in such a way that it heals fast. This will be over soon. Stay on top of the pain and exercise as much as you are able and you will heal fast. Praying for you.
Keep well Joas ,take every day as a day you are closer to healing. We all continue to think of you and pray for your journey to recovery.May God learn and teach you much through this experience. So thankful you have such a loving and caring wife, for the help you received from the doctors and nurses, from family and friends helping even bringing you dinner. Not forgetting Justin and Ethan what fine men they are turning out to be….The house that you all built was beautiful.Loved the mouse in the garden.Lots of love and prayers.🙏🙏🌺🌺🌺🌺
Seeing your strong husband going through something like that with both his feet would be so difficult!!!! 😢 but God is such a comfort during these times. You guys are awesome troopers and an awesome team. ❤ prayers for a fast healing.
Glad it worked out. Wishing you a good outcome. When I had an emergency caesar and woke up with a sore throat and no voice I was very confused! I was too groggy to realise there had been a tube. 🙂
So nice that you have modern technology and Joas can 'see' the boys working. And how wonderful that the Lord provides when accidents happen.
O Lord my God, I cried to You for help, and you restored my health. Psalm 30:2 NLT

My favorite part of 5:00p Friday is knowing a new Montana Haven video is waiting!
Plase dont let your pain get away from you! It makes it harder to work!
Get well soon!! I'll be praying for you🙏🙏💗
I know it is a great relief/ peace of mind for you that e+ j have your back and can carry on the responsibility to complete the project. It's beautiful. They are a tremendous help along with the rest of the "team". It's scary but you will come out the other side so much better. Take care of yourself, there is plenty of TLC from Priscilla too. 🙏🏼
I love watching you guys so much! Prayers for a quick and successful recovery. Your love for each other is incredible and show in every video.
Take care.
It wasn’t weird it’s was god watching over you my friend praise the Lord🙏🙏🙏
Continuing to pray for you, Joas, and all your family. I love to watch your videos. I just had shoulder surgery, and recognize your ice machine. 😂 prayers and family have gotten me through, and I know they will for you, too. God bless you all. Know that you have one silly "fan" that loves every positive thought you post, and wishes you all only the best.
Swift healing on you as well in Jesus name!
Wonderful video! How proud you must be of the boys! Actually young men! Such a blessing! So happy you are feeling better!
It's so beautiful to see you sharing your loved whit everything happening in the world ! Thank you for your sharing your love and videos!❤😊
I send you all my positive thoughts and include you in my prayers from France! God bless you and all your family
May lord’s power, healing, blessings and peace always be upon you. I’m glad it is over and praying for speedy recovery!
Gottes Segen weiterhin. Grüße aus 🇸🇪
Veihle danke!
Prayers for you and your family. Watching your boys on that roof makes me nervous ! But they are impressive to watch! Take care and soon you'll be up and running!❤❤❤
How proud you must be of your sons, in times of change you find out a lot about yourself and those around. Thanks for sharing.

So pleased you are feeling a little better. You have a beautiful nurse. 🙋🏼♀️🇦🇺
Thank you so much!
Hang in there brother. God has made the body in such a way that it heals fast. This will be over soon. Stay on top of the pain and exercise as much as you are able and you will heal fast. Praying for you.
Thank you, I will👍😀
Keep well Joas ,take every day as a day you are closer to healing.
Best wishes and prayers for a speedy and complete recovery.
Glad it worked out. Wishing you a good outcome. When I had an emergency caesar and woke up with a sore throat and no voice I was very confused! I was too groggy to realise there had been a tube. 🙂
