MTHFR defect runs in my family. Unfortunately my niece got the defect from her father's side as well. A genetic savvy doctor prescribed Thorne Methyl Guard prior to pregnancy and she carried twins almost to full term. Mark was 5 lbs and Penny was 2.9 lbs. Autopsy on Penny's umbilical cord showed a missing artery. After 3 weeks in NICU she came home and overcame digestive issues and is now a thriving child. Her little sister born 2 years later had a normal development because my niece continued with the supplementation.

@MR SKANDAL BEATS 0121 the MTHFR gene mutation. All humans have the MTHFR gene. About 50% of the population have a mutation of that gene. Those without the mutation it is expressed as CC. One C from each parent. So somebody with the mutation can be expressed as CT, TC or TT. I have the TT expression of the gene, so the mutation comes from both of my parents. So I have the more difficult version of the mutation. My body does not process vitamin b9 (folate) well. The folic acid which is fortifying much of the foods in the US, is fake, synthetic, man-made. My body does not use it much at all. I took medicine called Trileptal and I had mouth sore to the bone. Trileptal strips your body of folate and since my body doesn't process it well anyway, I had a major deficiency. The Dr office ran a DNA test and I have this mutation. I hope this explanation helps.

MTHFR it’s not a gene, mutation genes, don’t mutate, it’s a hereditary Passover of a damaged liver, agent, orange glyphosate, DDT mercury, any number of people have tested positive to MTHFR , and then detox the liver and tested negative afterwards, medical research and training is funded and manipulated by the pharmaceutical industry they always put the blame back on the victim, by saying it’s genetic, it’s not.
