That's outside the purpose of this category. It's already making podium in the American Twins Cup anyway, racing along side RS660 and R7 that are tuned to 100 hp.
I’m so sorry to bother you brotha but where can I find the clip ons and what size are they? And the new top tree with the spider I have this bike and the only thing I hate besides the tail which I fixed is the handle bars there horrible 😔 please help me
Akrapovic, M4, and other brands make the most power on this bike so far. The intake is a very restricted system. Swap that for T13 brand airbox and ECU flash. Factory is about 77 hp. The mods I mentioned make 93. Yes, it's very stopped up.
what exhaust is this? Cant find it on the spark website. *edit* Contacted Spark and got immediate response, this exhaust system is not available yet, but will be soon they say.
That pipe kind of reminds me of my old TLR. Looking forward to seeing the class develop more and make track duties a bit more realistic with newer equipment.
Great vid. Looks & sounds awesome. It has so much potential as a platform. Out of interest did you remap the ECU for the new exhaust &/or do any airbox mods at all?
Akrapovic or M4 make the most power. Turn 13 Motorsports airbox (version 2) swap, opens up the top end power. 2 Wheel Dyno Works ECU flash is tops in the States. For deep pockets, Vance & Hines makes custom camshafts and a race kit. Dymag wheels if you're interested. Order BST carbon fiber wheels if you have deep pockets. You'll have to request that direct to manufacturer. Hot Bodies Racing might make lightweight fairings. Zero Gravity double-bubble screen for better aero. Andreani for suspension help. K-Tech perhaps. Bellissimoto has Matris shock and steering damper, as well as control levers, rearsets, and such. Various brands of rearsets, find one that you can swap to GP-shift. Lithium battery drops weight. Swap to 520 racing chain and sprocket set for less drag and some weight loss. With the new HP you make, consider changing final gearing.
I need help lowering the levers as well. - The spider clip on tubes you are using are 250mm, do I need to order a bracket separately for that? If so, what size bracket? - Do I need to get new forks in order to replicate this process or can I use the spider clip-ons with the standard forks? -Lastly, If i follow through with this, would I need the triple clamp? Please help me! Im new to the motorcycle community
Is it easy to remove the ignition lock on the GSX 8R. I can manage it mechanically, but how does it work electrically? Does the model have an immobilizer?
can you add part numbers for all of the bits, especially the Bitubo and Spider parts. If the HEL brake lines were custom sizes, do you know what those lengths are? Lastly, what company did you mention for the ABS block off plugs?
Nice Video ! :) Where can I buy the intermediate piece that is mounted between the exhaust and the rear frame? (the pillion pegs were previously installed there)
@@ST-kq9py , i know, so why just dont buy the R1 ? Pretty sure even 100% stock is track worthy. And the engine is on another planet compared to this suzuki.
@@Mike.4639 I think all the new twins are such a let down and basically a watered down substitute for all the real bikes before them, I have a ‘22 60th Anniversary R1 and it’s such an epic bike.
While i agree, the motor characteristics as well as ease to ride make it worth it to some people. Me personally I’d get the rs660 or r7 bc they are already set up to be track worthy.
Very similar 0-60 numbers these Vtwins deliver power differently. Peak torque is lower 60s at 6400 rpm. Where normal sport bikes have that 100+ HP but 40-50ft lbs of torque.
@@jroc6082 Its a great bike im not arguing that fact. Im just saying I have put over 40,000 miles on 600's and I would take it over it. I also have an R1 so if I want torque ill just ride that. that looks and sounds ace, I've got a feeling we will start seeing these everywhere in a year
Builds like this are cool, taking an affordable bike and turning it into a track bike!
I hope Suzuki makes a GSX-8RR version with clip ons and fully adjustable suspension some day.
I think Suxuki was too timid in designing the bike.
Pienso exactamente lo mismo, y con 4 cilindros y 15cv más

What a mouth watering video this is
That bike looks and sounds brilliant! They should send them out of the showroom with this spec 👌🙌

Whats cost of those mods ?.
These new Suzuki twins are so sweet!
Any update on this series? Is the lack of aftermarket support making it more difficult than expected.
I'm trying to sell my current track bike and get one of these, to do the same type of upgrades.
Top job!
What Spark exhaust model is this? Their website doesn't show anything for the GSX-8R...
I was wondering the same thing

Dymag makes forged alloys for it.
Hey guys, you might want to answer a couple dozen questions on your videos.
Very nice m8! Did you have clearance issues with the clip ons hitting bodywork???
Love it. Can't wait to see it in action.
Love this type of content !! Mods, tweaks…Good job !!
Im interested to see how much faster. Good work!

@Nesin001 did they give you any information on when .. so far this the best sounding exaushts I seen on the web
What about carbon wheels? Sure that would help with weight and turning capability. Lower bars make it look so much better, and that exhaust is awesome

Dyno (before and after), cost and point of exercise?
That ‘Kieran’ guy is my dad 😂 I’m on call to my cousin and her dad my dads brother wanted to watch this so that’s why I’m watching it 😂😂
I don't get why you are still keeping the front indicators and the headlight in.
Powerslide all the way ..absolutely top boys wouldn’t use any other
Wonder if they had to flash the ECU for the exhaust.
You should. No idea if they did. If they did not, they left a heap of power on the table.
Good morning.
What is the name of the lowering handlebar kit please? (Vidéo 6.15)
+ steering cylinder
Whens part 3 coming out?

I think those ABS blocks were Bitubo
Any details on the clip ons pls ? Those turn this into a beaut imo 😍
The 270deg parallel twin concept was a winner indeed
💪
what rear suspion did you guys use?
Where did you get the exhaust from???
Bro I have this bike and the handlebars are too high. The darn things don’t come off?
What a beauty
I like the exhaust, where i can buy that? I need that exhaust pf my suzuki 8R. Please send some linlk. Thank you.
With new pipes, is it recommended to do a tune or flash or does it not really matter?
If you decat yes.
When's day 3

Wheres the dyno?
Could have a custom underbelly exhaust for reduced weight.
Beautifull Suzuki alwais ahead
Don't forget the air box mods
Total swap yields another 3-4 peak hp, versus the best box mods.
One inch more, “that’s about 6 inches, right”. 😂
Awesome
People overstate the importance of saving weigth, every 5kg off is the equivalent of adding 1hp, so not that big of a diference
Bike + mods = stock R1 price ...

Wonder why manufacturers don’t just go race shift from the outset on all bikes. It’s hardly an engineering challenge, and makes sense on the road.
Why? I don't get the obsession with reversing the shifting pattern
@@andreassakkas7234 changing up whilst cornering is much easier to push down otherwise you unweight the peg. It’s also more natural.
Normal shifting was ok for Kevin Schwantz and it works ok for me
All these mods cost more than the bike itself!
You forgot to upgrade the most important thing: The rider
you could cheat as motogp do, by adding aero wings for more downforce, hate it btw
Something about these new bikes just screams cheap and ugly design.
L of a model if you ask me
Lmao all 70 hp at the track. That's a newbie bike. It's road junk
