Bharathanatyam Thillana - Poornachandrika - Harshitha Venkatesh

Harshitha's dance for Kalaaradhana dance competition held in 2012.
Thillana is purely a Nritta based item which involves pure dance movements with complex rhythmic patterns. The meaning of the lyrical passage in this thillana is " Oh! Kind hearted one , having learnt about your fame and prowess , I seek your protection who will quickly remove all my worries and troubles considering me helpless. As it is in praise of an universal god , the lyrical passage in this thillana is dedicated to Shirdi Sai Baba by the choreographer." The thillana is in Raagam Poornachandrika and Aadhi Thaalam. A beautiful composition by Sri Poochi Srinivasa Iyengar.
