PAMIR HIGHWAY with our offroad camper along the afghan border

We made it! We arrived on the famous PAMIR HIGHWAY. This is a dream come true for us!
But the infamous highway demands a lot from us - the route Dushanbe - Darband - Kalai Khum (200km) takes us around 8 hours! The next 200km from Kalai Khum are also tough - dust, potholes and major construction sites. The many heavily loaded trucks in particular have to struggle with the extremely narrow passages and loose ground. Trucks often break down on the side of the road.
What remains is the incredibly beautiful view of the raging Panj River (the border river between Tajikistan and Afghanistan) and the green fields, small villages and dramatic mountains on the opposite Afghan side of the valley.
