You know, honestly?
The 'kindergarten girl and forgotten god' thing?
Amazing start to a humorous slice of life anime.
Just, the god has power in porportion to the belief in him there is, and only has the little girl herself. Only she can see him, and he can barely affect the world at all. And yet he still acts all mighty and dramatic and then works to solve her problems with his limited at best tangibility. yet somehow he always seems to manage it. And then acts like 'helping her find a lost toy' is as great a miracle as parting a sea.
I would watch that anime.
If it's not the basic "title explains the entire plot" title? I could see the title "Little Miracles"...
season 2 they convince the kindergarden an move to middle school, season 3 she fights the bullies with the power of god and anime on her side and season 4 they beat up satan and conquer the world, but in season 5 turns out there is other universes trying to take over earth. then there's the movie epilogue where it turns out she just fell asleep in front of the TV
It is literally just like Small Gods on the Roundworld.

Worst "you're still supposed to sympathize with this character" dad? ... I'd cast my vote for Goku.
Except Goku is not a bad person, just an idiot. An idiot who grew up in the mountains away from people. Of course he's not a good dad, but he's still way better than quite a few fathers, real or fictional.
I don't know... all of his kids have pretty great lives, loving families, and an extensive support network.
The biggest parts where you might even call him a bad father were him being dead or saving the world. Both pretty forgivable.
His eldest even cannon went to college, and is in the top ten strongest people on earth.
I 100% think of and never when I think about their dads are supposed to sympathize with him. Because he’s totally going thru his redemption arc in the anime right now.
Goku is Pure of Heart, but Dumb of Ass. You kinda have to have some understanding of parenting to be bad at it, Goku has no idea what he's doing outside fighting, (maybe) farming, and somehow turning enemies into allies.

It wasn't growing any more leaves and was stuck with the original one for months. We move it to a bigger pot then I go to my mom's for 2 weeks. I come back. Suddenly 3 LEAVES. I leave for a month. 5 LEAVES. It hasn't grown since August but hopefully it'll get bigger in the spring/summer
