Michigan’s Only NS Intermodal Trains Meet in Wyandotte! NS 272 and NS 273 on 7/7/24

Meets still occasionally happen in Wyandotte, despite it slightly falling off as a hotspot in Michigan. And for this meet, we catch the only two intermodal trains from Norfolk Southern in the state. (Unless you count the now-abolished Triple Crown RoadRailers, very sad) NS trains 272 and 273 run daily between Livernois Yard in Detroit, MI and Portlock Yard in Norfolk, VA.
For power, 272 has NS AC44C6M’s #4224 and #4431. For 273, it has NS SD70ACe #1006, ES44AC #8045, and AC44C6M #4556. We shot this meet at the Vinewood Avenue crossing.
