How to use the Everest Tea Tumbler
1. Unscrew the lid of your tumbler and tug to remove the infuser basket.
2. Add 3 servings of loose-leaf tea to the infuser basket and push it into the tumbler.
3. Add water to steep. You can add cold water and steep all day. Or add hot water and steep the tea for the time shown on the package of tea.
4. If you are hot steeping your tea, be sure to set a timer. When the timer goes off, remove the tea basket infuser and reattach the lid. If you're cold steeping your tea, you can leave the basket infuser in all day, and refill the bottle with more cold water as you like.

Do you have to unscrew the lid to drink or can you drink the hot tea from the spout in the middle?

You unscrew the cap that covers what you're referring to as the spout. The cap keeps the spout clean 🙂 The lid is unscrewed when you're adding or removing the tea basket.

@@subrosatea8813 thanks! I have a different one that I really like but it's hard to drink from in the car (even as a passenger) bc there is no "spout," just the entire opening. This one seems like it would be easier to drink from without spilling everywhere.

Can you drink from the bottle without removing the basket? Thank you so much! :D

Yes you can. The infuser basket can be snapped down into the bottle so it doesn't rattle around. You can leave the basket in all day - which we do when we're cold steeping. The top lid has fine mesh holes so the steeped tea will pass through and the tea leaves stay in the basket.
