Good video and thank you for the commentary. As someone considering a start into the RUclips tech world, my aspirations are fairly low with how much work is involved. It’s nice to hear from someone grinding at it and what their journey has been.

Thank you for choosing us. You have become my go to over some of the other big unnamed tech channels. You are really down to earth and just easy to watch. Your end of video catch phrase has become my favorite. I binged the build up challenge in one night and was hooked right then. I am a new subscriber and don't see myself going anywhere. I'm a Old grumpy Vet that loves building PC's and watching you do your thing gives me some good insight on my own small projects. I will say though adding fans is my weak spot. *I been on & off RUclips over the years, started with random stuff, then cars now sticking to PC tech, I need to up my game on the camera, sound, editing and story telling, but don't have the time for that as fulltime work and kids take a massive chunk of time and it's tiring!*
*The thing that keeps me going is when I see the subs slowly increasing!*

Personally, Idk if I would've been able to turn down a job offer like that. But like you said, you gotta bet on yourself, sometimes.
Who knows. Maybe the job you turned down was going to be hyper stressful and not treat you well. That could've been a disaster. Jobs at large corporations do tend to be like that a lot.
I'm definitely glad that you decided to make the decision that works best for you and your family. It certainly doesn't hurt that it's also the one that keeps you on here, making banger content for us. ;)

Content creation is hard. I first started making long form gaming content on RUclips and I just wasn’t enjoying it. Then I started posting on TikTok and that’s where it all changed, I had my high point on the rollercoaster and gained over 40K followers, now I’m at the lower part, but I’m pushing through trying to make the best content I can even if it’s only getting a couple thousand views, but it’s all part of the process. I found your channel because I’m looking to build a computer, thanks for making amazing content and I look forward to the pc build up challenge every week ❤

I've been thinking about starting a YT channel for awhile. I've been studying and analyzing the content others produce because I'm not very good at knowing what the average person wants. I'm trying to get a PC building business going and also applying for regular jobs. I'm not really interested in being another budget build channel; I want to produce more in depth content. It takes a significant amount of effort to produce videos that are up to the quality standards of a successful channel, especially when you have to go well out of your way to produce the kind of content I want to produce. For example, because I am also a musician, I don't want to just use the same YT royalty free music everyone else is using. So that's another time consuming process, even if it is just some basic techno background music.
I've collected a bunch of gameplay video over the past year or so and I'm planning to do something with it over the next few months. I have a few different ideas of what to do with the footage, besides the obvious game reviews and quest walkthroughs. I think I need to stop putting so much emphasis on what I want the channel to evolve into and just start publishing some content.

RUclips is an insane rollercoaster but it always has us coming back for more... took me many iterations of different channels to finally land on this PC Flipping niche and I'm having so much fun with it. You're definitely one of my inspirations in this niche, so keep up the great work!

I think you're doing right by following your dream and you evidently have the best partner in the world. I started RUclips back in 2014 doing random stuff, then in 2017 I made a Minecraft gaming channel and the channel I commented on is tech videos, I was focusing more on gaming, but then in 2020 I stopped making content, staring 2021 I started making tech content on the acc I commented here and my channel still goes on today.
Just subbed mate as I do similar content and enjoy watching similar stuff.
Comments sections tend to be toxic. People with energized negative or critical opinions tend to post comments far more than people happy with what they saw, so it leans heavily to complaints or criticisms. Same thing affects talk radio where unhappy hosts and unhappy callers dominate the air. As for disappointment over analytics and video performance, these videos are a lot like regular showbiz where actors regularly suffer ups and downs. People in showbiz are used to that and ride it out. They don't take it personally when something bombs. You just move on. Content creators are not used to it. They take it far too personally and a single failure is enough to derail everything. Don't do that. Treat it like showbiz, shrug off the downs and carry on. You make great videos and you do have a unique approach. It will keep growing. Save your Joker PC video and rerelease it when the next Batman movie emerges. Leverage it to be future relevant. It will work out.

The black gloves started when my son put them in my shopping cart one day. And it has just stuck around, plus I deal with used hardware and it’s probably best to not have somebody else’s dirt all over my hands.

I had a channel that had worked on for almost 8 years, I made it up to 25,000 subscribers. Then because RUclips went on their great purge, they deleted my channel overnight. I checked my messages or comments at 2:00 in the morning and then before I went to bed at about 3:00 I checked it and was gone.
I never had one violation a copyright strike or anything. They deleted my channel completely. The thing is there are other channels that have the same exact videos that I had that are still up and running you want to talk about sickening. That is sickening
I remember the joker build. I loved it. Thought it was super unique and it was still a good video. But your videos have definitely grown

happy for your decision buddy but money is also important for family create a website and try to sell pre-build pc for around 100$-200$ profit like zach is doing you can easily sell around 10 pc in a month which can give you around 1000$ profit that would be a win win situation you doing what you like and also you earning as well keeping moving buddy we will always support you
