One thing that got me success was putting my most peaceful of my 2 angelfish. To bring extra precautions, I even put the discus in my new 75 gallon before the angels so the discus can be better established in the aquarium
I have 1 angelfish in with my discus, I had to put him in there because he was being bashed up by my other angelfish. Has not been a problem, the discus ignore him and he actually hangs out with my smallest discus. I often see them swimming slowly together peacefully.
@@willie346 Bleher mentoned it many times, including in his books. There are plenty of photos of them caught in the same net. Discus school with Heros and there are videos of that, so there is no reason why they can't mix with Pterophyllum

Great advice. May i know how often do you deworm your discus and what medication to use?

Angels and discus often school together in the wild, so they should coexist in aquarium as well

I use Levamisole, which always does the job. Flubendazole-based dewormers might be good as prophylactic, but they rarely kills actual worms
