Busted Knuckle Films that’s what I do, there is a shop where 25% of the business is restoring 80’s & 90’s Mercury Grand Marquis and Ford Crown Vic’s. The hardest ones to restore or restore and upgrade are the 80’s models due to lack of body panels. Bringing them back to life is the point, not chopping them up for something they where never intended for, their cruiser cars, at best they can be drag cars but, mud buggies is way to far off the design. Like I said, great idea and glad to see it could be done but, wow for them to be chopped up and bodies destroyed instead of cleaner and less destructive fabrication is a bit to far. What you’ll have done, could’ve been done with less destruction and less full size truck suspension parts because it’s already been done before without destroying the body parts.
If it helps you to understand, i cut up 4 vehicles to make 1 custom one. Tried to give away parts i had left over, ended up scrapping most of the unused. Complaints about it mean nothing.

There’s many people trying vigorously to restore these or turn them into sleepers hell even the donk builds need body panels, external lighting assy’s and interior parts. But, to derby or hack them into mug buggies is a waste of a good car. Sorry if my opinion of these cars is personal emotion but, many people can’t find parts like good body panels, interior parts or external light assy’s due to shenanigans and NOBODY repop’s these parts what so ever. Currently, I’m doing large dent removal on my front passenger door because, some douchbag backed into my car and left the scene which left me with a smashed in door that I can replace and requires HOURS of work to restore.
