  • Kamusta! Hello! こんにちは!
    Another typical day of my life as an English Teacher here in Japan. What I usually eat for breakfast and the other things that I do before going to work will be shown in this video. Also, I will introduce "Furusato Nozei" which is a campaign where residents can buy products from different prefectures in Japan and it can lessen your residential tax. Please enjoy watching.
    Thank you!
    Love lots,
    Dijeiii

      That’s true but somehow it’s pertains to all the people who prepared the meal from the farmers to the ones who prepared it

    Coffee first always, then I chill in bed with my kitty drinking coffee, watching the news, and checking for morning deer. When you were folding the envelopes, I remembered doing origami a long time ago, might start that again! Thank you for a nice Monday vlog 😊 Brightened the day

    I go to the washroom and greet my two little birds 🐤...they are zebra finches. Then I make my bed and have breakfast. Your videos are wonderfully inspiring and relaxing. 😊❤

      Thanks!! Are you birds roaming freely in your house? My best friend has her bird freely flying in the house

    • @LindaElliott-kc1yf
      @LindaElliott-kc1yf Месяц назад

      No. Because zebra finches are so tiny, you could accidentally step on one. As well it wouldn't be safe when I am cooking. They do have a large cage with plenty of space, though. 😊

    Wake up, stretch and yawn. Wash my mouth, face and make coffee and bkfst. Then let the dogs in for a bit, feed them and check for messages while eating bkfst. Then I start cleaning the house.

    Only in Japan would they get people to make their own envelopes. # origami
    As winter approaches is there anything you can do to insulate your apartment or is insulating yourself with heat tech clothing easier, especially with the condensation issue you had earlier this year.

      That’s really interesting, isn’t it? It’s fun do fold the paper. My apartment is not as cold compared to other apartments. Heater makes my throat really dry so I prefer wearing thick clothing instead

    Make the bed. Wash my face. Get breakfast for my grandson and then clean up and do other things that need to be done lol. Then I sit down and have some hot tea and toast lol. Is your water bad tasting like ours is here? We drink only bottled water because we are always on boil the water requests from our city. No way would I send important tax papers in a glue stick envelope lol. Someone could open that easily and get your information.

      In my place I can taste something on the water but it depends. In my boyfriend’s place we can drink it as it is.

    State, prefecture and city taxes?

    • @dijeiii06
      @dijeiii06  Месяц назад

      It’s residential tax so probably city tax

  • @sapphire22011

    What us the point in the tax back scheme? If you're having to make 'donations ' to other areas of the country thrn surely in the end you are not really getting anything more back than u are paying out in the first place? And fro the amount of paperwork, it's a lot of hassle

    • @dijeiii06
      @dijeiii06  Месяц назад

      You can actually buy one item that amounts your donation based on your salary. But for me, I wanted to distribute my donation to other places

    • @sapphire22011
      @sapphire22011 Месяц назад

      @dijeiii06 That's not my point. Why should you be expected to donate anything when unare working and paying taxes already?

    • @dijeiii06
      @dijeiii06  Месяц назад +1

      @ it’s not mandatory, you can just do it if you want. Residential tax is different from the taxes we are paying from our salary

    • @sapphire22011
      @sapphire22011 Месяц назад

      @dijeiii06 I wirk hard here and pay my taxes. Thsts quite enough without bring expected to 'donate'. I wouod be telling them to F OFF

    • @raymonde4272
      @raymonde4272 24 дня назад +1

      @@sapphire22011 I suspect that big cities which will generate more income than they need due to population density will give incentives to divert part of your tax donation to more provincial areas where the needs of the smaller community cannot be fully covered by the local government income. This happens all over the world where cities generate more tax income than rural or suburban communities, but that will be divided at a state or national level.
