He's being smart he gives Hayley a family etc which is nice but if you wanted someone or something to work in you favor wouldn't you do things like that? @@azoladusubana6281 sorry for the reply months later and i agree on the whole loving elijah thing but i disagree on the whole trying to run away with hope or whatever. i think that if she really thought it was best for hope, then she would have explained that to klaus but if im remembering correctly she didnt. so her trying to go behind his back to do that was a bad judgment call and unfair to him because he adores hope and does everything in his power to protect her.
Honestly, I love Hayley, but sometimes I think she's a bit overconfident in her abilities now that she's a hybrid. Going up against Rebekah? Really? I miss the days where it was much harder to take down older vampires. When Elena took down Katherine so easily without even breaking a sweat after turning her emotions off, I was pretty pissed. You're supposed to be stronger the older you are, and the show used to be like that, but then it changed. I loved this scene.

Super big facts I miss the days when it was super hard to take down an original. Now you got these pedestrian witches and vampires who can infect pain or snape necks like its nothing, but in tvd it was super hard to do so without a surprise attack. And for witches you would at least need to be around Esther or Freya's level to inflict damage to an original. Soooooo not keeping up with the lore of this universe. I only have two things to say for Hayley; one, her strength is only equal to a Vampire who's lived for 500+ years (thanks to being a hybrid), two Why have none of the original vampires ever compelled her.

She does things as she is a vampire and is their sibling but truly not as much as her siblings she usually minds her own business, always falling in love and daydreaming about having children and having a family. I think she does even fewer things than Phin, she and he give the least direct trouble out of the Mikelson children.

Hayley will always fight whether she will win or not and I love that about her. Even when she was about to die and knew she wouldn't win she went down fighting and did the best she could. That's admirable and one of the things I love about her. She also has that in common with Klaus. Also, she was defending herself if she ran Rebekah could easily catch her regardless and they would still end up fighting.

I wish that storyline was never written. The Originals could've came to New Orleans for other reasons. Anyways, I love Rebekah. She is so badass. Claire is a great actress. Rebekah, Kol and Klaus are my favorites. I love Elijah too, but when he's not trying to calm Klaus down. Klaus can handle himself. They are both mortals and would be much better suitable for each other. Regarding Hayley, she did make a choice, she chose Hope's safety and with it Jackson too, but if you think of it did she really make a choice? cause watching this scene she practically admitted to her husband that she's in love with Elijah and yes she loves him too, but who in his right mind or having any self respect would want to share his wife even on an emotional level.
