Peter Serafinowicz is a national treasure. I love his point blank aggression towards everything. His timing is absolutely perfect. Seeing people react to Peter for the first time is brilliant because it’s never what he actually says that is funny. It’s people’s reactions to what he says & how he acts after the delivery of the lines, where one by one they start cracking up as the person talking to him is clearly bewildered and not really sure how to handle the random aggression 😂. I loved him in Sean of the Dead playing Pete too, his character was perfect for the type of comic he is. I like it when they’re stood at the bottom of the stairs too afraid to go up & see him - because he might be a zombie…. But he also might not be a zombie & just be himself and extremely angry & abusive 😂😂😂
Ohhhh, you missed Stephen Mangan’s brilliant comeback! When Jimmy said “the last time I saw hair that curly it was sticking out of my girlfriend’s underpants”, he replied “I can only apologise”. 😂😂😂

Strangways is a prison in Manchester. There was a riot there in the 90's which lasted about 3 weeks. That is what Jimmy was refering to about throwing tiles off the roof, which actually happened during the riot.
