Just a friendly little piece of advice. If you load these ammo cans full of ammunition, don’t go bigger than the .50 caliber cans. Years ago I bought 2 .50 caliber ammo cans full of Norinco 7.62 X 39 mm ammunition. It was difficult to carry them a few hundred feet to my vehicle because they were so heavy. Anything much bigger than the .50 caliber cans will require 2 people to carry them.
Thanks for clearing that up for me i didn’t know there were 2 different sized 50 cal ammo cans. I bought 2 fat boys at a gun show, then ordered 2 more 50 cals from Apex and was disappointed when I opened the package and saw how small they looked. Good video sir!👍🏼
Great video sir! I've purchased the fat 50, grade 2 (used) through the 'Amazon' from the Ammo Can Man for $21.12 delivered. I gave found them to be a good value for their storage capacity. Not a bad deal...
Great video...great review! I particularly like the realistic test of how much ammo fit in both....a great perspective. Will be heading to TS this weekend....thanks!
It would be interesting to also compare the 30 cal ammo can. I have a standard M2A1 50 cal ammo can but was thinking about transitioning to using a pair of 30 cal ammo cans. With one being for my preferred sidearm a few magazines and some cleaning items, and the other for magazines, ammo, and a speed loader. To consolidate things a bit and minimize the amount of weight that I'm toting. I'm sure that if I only carried the sidearm 30 cal it would be significantly lighter than trying to tote everything all at once.
Appreciate the size comparison. Looking to build some 'saddle bags' for my bike. If I've got the room for the larger one on the bike theres no reason not to use it. Are the knock off cans from TSC still avaliable? I dont want the rural king or cabelas logo embossed on them. These ones look nice being clean.
The small box looks USGI to me, not Chinese made, how do I know that, inside the lid there’s a large rectangular dimple, the Chinese’s is shorter in length.
I wouldn't expect them to hold up to actual military use, but if you're just fine then the store valuable items and keep moisture out of those items, these should do fine.

Great vid, exactly what I needed. The surplus site dimensions seem to vary, and weren't clear if internal or external dimensions

There’s also a tall fat 50cal if you get the original military cans
Bought three after watching your last video, great price! Thanks for the info on these
Glad you got some.

Good video I liked the Pa 108. I'm gonna have to run down to tractor supply to see if we have them. Thanks for the video. Good job.
Thank you sir.
Is it sad that a small box has more cubic inches than the engine in my truck? (318 small block mopar)

Great comparison video
I think we need to hear the name of the 2 cans just one more time
I have a normal 50cal can full of loose 22lr (cheep Remington ammo) it weighs in at just over 50lbs.
How much would a fat 50 weigh then?
Appreciate the size comparison.

Those gaskets look massive to be USA
