Because he is from cinema family. His father and brother Surya are actors. But this hero Karthi not intrested in acting. He was graduated in USA and lived there almost 20 years since his childhood. When he came back to India, got married. One director came to him and offered him a side role in movies. He acted for the first time. After watched that movie, everyone said he was gifted actor. So another director gave him hero role. After that he became famous. He choose his movies. I mean he acted 21 movies so far with 21 different directors😅 No hero done that in Tamil Industry.

Because their director's fighting each others, who are the best. When got good competation, there will be good movies. Tamil got 6 good movies out of 10 each year. I watched all language movies because im malaysian. I can surely said Tamil and Malayalam movies improved a lot in past 10 years. Once we Malaysian made funny of tamil movies because unrealistic story and fights. But now bollywood became masala and blue film. I cant even watch bollywood movies with my family. They are actually following hollywood style in romance. Tamil and Malayalam movies followed indian culture with modest dresses and less sexy. We can watch South movies with family members. As a Malaysian, our culture bit similar to India.

Because their director's fighting each others, who are the best. When got good competation, there will be good movies. Tamil got 6 good movies out of 10 each year. I watched all language movies because im malaysian. I can surely said Tamil and Malayalam movies improved a lot in past 10 years. Once we Malaysian made funny of tamil movies because unrealistic story and fights. But now bollywood became masala and blue film. I cant even watch bollywood movies with my family. They are actually following hollywood style in romance. Tamil and Malayalam movies followed indian culture with modest dresses and less sexy. We can watch South movies with family members. As a Malaysian, our culture bit similar to India.
