    Yo, I watched your video this morning and interviewed 4 hours later (2nd stage) and they asked
    1: Tell me about yourself, I already had my one.
    2. Design process, I knew this but couldn't articulate it like you but I memorised your answer beforehand and when they asked, I just said it like you. Me covering it like you basically covered a whole lot, they did ask on how I get feedbacks and I said in the testing phase and also user research that had been done by the company.
    I'm like you, got Html/CSS JavaScript skills and they just asked a couple of things, also if I've used mysql before which I have.
    3. They also asked Where I see myself in 3 to 5 years, I didn't use your example because I think some companies would frown on you trying to jump ship, I used this
    ruclips.net/video/wl5E_G3yBKA/видео.html
    Word for word.
    They ask me the next big thing and I said Augmented Reality.
    I was supposed to hear back from them on a Friday, they got back to me less than an hour later. Your video was really really helpful. It gave me confidence.
    Thanks so much 🔥👊🏾. I'm subbing.

    Hey, I really like your video. I have few most asked questions other than what you have covered in the video:
    1. What are the biggest challenge you have faced till now?
    2. What is your biggest achievement so far?
    3. How do you handle a situation when your team members do not agree on the designs you have made?
    I have interviews lined up this coming week, hope to get your answer soon!

    Sometimes client want to change something that we know is not a good practice or something that will not work. What should we do in that situation..?

    • @KaYungCalebLai
      @KaYungCalebLai  2 года назад

      I'd give my best suggestions, but if they still want the other way, I'd follow their instruction. Think of it this way, if you're a hairdresser and your client wants you to shave his head, you know it'll be bad but he's paying for it, would you do it?

    • @KaYungCalebLai
      @KaYungCalebLai  3 года назад

      Hey Rohit, I think it's less about your portfolio structure and more about your work. I always advise people to just use Dribbble as their portfolio rather than having a personal one. I made a video to talk more about this point.

    This feels more of a ui role. If you’re not doing research and analysis you’re not doing ux.

      there is a role called ux researcher, and that is totally different from designing the actual product.

    600+ companies? doesnt that mean you aren't doing very well at the interviews?

    • @KaYungCalebLai
      @KaYungCalebLai  2 года назад +5

      1st of all, you need to be good enough to secure an interview. and 2nd, most companies I talked to are for contract work, that's why the number is high.
