Ike had a similar note for his Aether in 8.0.0, which made it have transcendent priority instead of clanking with other moves. That seems to be what they did with the final hits of rapid jabs.
@Shane B i don't think the patch notes is refering to when the jab kills, i think it's referring to the hitbox of the final hit, some character could cancel the last attack with their own jab, especificaly zss and little mac, since you can hitstun cancel with attacks earlier then with shield, maybe they mad the hitbox unclackable now?
This feels like a really pointless patch in terms of balance, only good thing was the Belmont's, bowser jr. and maybe the Icy's buff. But even those didn't impact that much. Only the Icy's buff is a real buff that helps some of their core issues, buy I'm not sure if I want Icy's buffed again, getting melee and brawl flashbacks. Sonic was a mistake imo and I'm pretty neutral on the minor ness buffs. The multihit fixes were good tho but that isn't so much for balance as it is just quality of life stuff. Edit: forgot Lucario, my bad. Seems pretty nice though, still minor but better than nothing for the character.
Sonic needed those fixes. His up air is so unreliable and didnt connect like... ever. There was barely a use for sonics up smash and sonic up tilt annoyibg to use bc it's such a narrow hit. Think of captain falcon up smash but far smaller hitbox.
Ness was already a passable, playable character. I’m honestly stumped as to why nintendo thought he needed a bunch of buffs, but i’m not complaining. Many other characters could have used those buffs, just saying.
I'm more afraid of sonic's buffs, i don't know if they're a good thing or a bad thing, becouse the reason every sonic played lame was the fact that every single one of his agressive options were bad, horribly bad, but here they buffed only these agressive options, maybe they're trying to make sonic a character that rewards not being lame to fix his annoying playstyle? But if they don't nerf the lame options, he can still play annoying, but now with other buffed moves.
@@uchihajunior5648 They should nerf his camping options, but they should buff his aggressive options, then he would be an aggressive character rather than a defensive character.
I'm glad they buffed Ices's dash attack to hit consistently but it still doesn't combo or kill unless Nana's hit actually kills the opponent.

@Shane B the "flurry to ko" means rapid "jab finisher", not "when rapid jab kills".
